Nice park with lots of trees. Keeps it pretty shady which is probably great in summer, but kind of cool and damp in fall. Restrooms were clean, but only 1 sink. The park hosts were nice and the park is close to Cannon Beach, Seaside and Astoria. Pool area and spa were also clean. There is a small store, gas, diesel, propane available. Sites were good, but having a small concrete or gravel pad next to RV pad would help keep the dirt, etc. out of the RV.
This was a very nice park to stay at. Staff friendly and helpful. Park was very clean and quiet. Spaces well maintained. The park is located in an area that seems kind of industrial, but was not a problem. The Main Street downtown is walking distance (a little over a half mlle each way). It's worth the walk. We were only here one night, but will definitely stay at Blue Valley RV again.
This is a first come first in place. Pick a spot and register at hotel desk. We were glad to find a spot since it was pretty full and getting late at night. The restrooms were OK and relatively clean, but could have been better. There is Wi-Fi in the hotel and so we just took the laptop to the lobby. Sites are decent, but there is a far amount of traffic noise from the nearby highway. The hook-ups in the sites are not well placed and we could not use the sewer connection as it was on the wrong side and way up front. The hotel staff was nice and for an overnight stay while on the road, the park was OK.
This could be such a nice place to stay but it needs work. Sites are not level and were muddy. The Wi-Fi did not work. The restrooms are outdated and dirty. No hand soap or dryer or paper towels. The trees overhanging the park road left several branches on our RV. The location is beautiful and there are cabins, but I don't know how they are. I would not stay here again unless they level the sites, put down some gravel in the sites, get the WiFi going, trim up the trees, and redo the bathrooms.
Very quiet and clean RV Park. Sites are pretty level. Gravel, but nice. There are trains that pass nearby, but unless I was already awake I did not hear them. Owners were friendly and helpful. Laundry area was clean and well kept. Wi-Fi in out site #12 worked great. Most spots do not have shade and if I was traveling with kids that needed some outside play space this would not be a good choice. However, we were here for 5 nights and have no complaints. It is close to Glacier, Whitefish, Hungry Horse Dam, and Flathead Lake, so there is lots to do.
This is a pretty rustic campground, but good for tents or campers or small trailers. Sites are shady which is nice in hot weather, but when cool and rainy it is not so great. Spaces are decent size. There is a boat launch and room to park boat trailers. Campground is quiet at night. The lake is nearby - walking distance and good for fishing, swimming, and water sports.
Stayed two nights. For the location of our space (105) I would give it a 9, but some spaces are much closer to freeway and get a lot more traffic noise so I made our overall rating an 8. Spaces are flat. Fairly close together, but we had room for our awning and slideout. Very clean and well kept. Showers were clean and great water pressure. Pool and spa were nice. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well where we were. About half the campground is used by month to month folks who seem to work in the area. I liked this park and would definitely stay here again. BTW, if needed Blue Dog RV Service - we needed a new brake on one trailer wheel - was awesome.
