This was our first time at Wild Duck Campground. It was quiet and relaxing. The bathrooms were spotless. We had a pull-thru premium site. We love our grand kids, but this being an adult only campground was a pleasure. The only improvement that they could make would be more stone or gravel at the sites. We actually stayed here twice in the month on the way to and from Canada. Close to the beach.
This is a great campground, very well maintained and friendly/helpful staff. The roads are easily navigated, our site was a pull thru. There was plenty of space between sites, didn't feel all closed in by neighbors. They do have free cable with a large selection of channels. There is nothing for kids, no playground or pool. The rate is based on Passport America. Improvements would be to pave the roads, very muddy when rainy.
This campground is family owned and the owners are on the property. The owner escorts you to your site and makes sure you are familiar with the area. We have never experienced this hospitality anywhere. The views of the Bay of Fundy are beautiful. The park is very near The Fundy Trail. Two improvements would make this a 10. Better WiFi service and cable TV to all sites. Our site right on the Bay had no cable and the WiFi was hit or miss depending if there was another RV between us and the antenna. I would highly recommend staying in this park !
This was our second visit and probably our last. We booked a site 1 year in advance, only upon check in to find the site didn't exist anymore. We were assigned a new site nowhere as nice as the one we had reserved. We were never notified about this. After much discussion and complaining we were given, what we thought, would be a decent site. As noted in other reviews, this is a party campground in the summer, with no regard for your fellow campers. People were up to all hours of the night making noise, no one seemed to care about the quiet hours. We were there with 2 young children who had a hard time sleeping with all the noise. Also, there is no regard for your campsite, people just come walking through. Nice to be eating outside and people walk right by your table. Also, the cable TV (all of 20 channels) wasn't working well.
Our site in the F circle was relatively large and easy to back our motorhome into, not much shade on the F sites. Salisbury and Ocean City are easy 15 minute drives. Camped with our 2 grand kids, ages 6 and 9.
This was our 3rd time here in a year, this is our favorite. All parks should be modeled after this one. One of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Sites are large, ingress and egress is very easy. Facilities are spotless. A lovely path around a lake allows for great walking or biking. Golf carts can also be rented. Only thing keeping this from a 10 is the lack of cable or satellite tv.
We stayed here for one night on our way home. It served that purpose. Sites are very close together. We barely fit in the pull through with our car attached. You need to be a deep sleeper because there is train traffic all the time. Restrooms and showers were clean.
Stayed here overnight during our trip to Florida. It is a very nice campground and the staff were great. Had problems getting the WIFI to work that night. We camped here in a Motor Home. Will probably stay here again on my way to or from Florida.
The park personnel were very friendly and helpful. They ride you around in a golf cart so you can pick your site. A very clean park with all amenities. Lots of tourism activities right outside the park. Would stay here again!
We come back to this park every year with the Grand kids. Great property, premium sites with 30/50 amp service, concrete pads, lampposts. Wireless internet access available. Great for kids, good fishing and activities. Well maintained and friendly staff.
This a 5 star park. Beautiful location. Excellent management. Fantastic plots all maintained in a pristine meticulous condition. There is no traffic sounds at all. The sites are extremely large. You have a lot of distance between sites. This is a park to measure all others by.
