Parking lot sites, but with incredible view of Mt. Rainier. Close to the National Park, about 45 minutes. Lots of long term residents, but friendly. Highlights are the lovely mowed walking paths through the 10 acre woods in the back of the site, not to mention the delicious blackberries, which we were encouraged to pick. We would stay there again...but probably on a long term basis.
This is an extremely pleasant urban RV Park. The sites are tight, but the rows of tall columnar cedars between the sites provide a sense of separation and privacy. The RV Park is very quiet for a high density situation. There is a small lake with a path part way around it and a fenced dog area, although one side relies on the pond for enclosure which is not ideal for a swimming dog!
Helpful staff/owners, but very tight quarters. Old RV park with trees that provide shade, but also constrain spaces. People were helpful in placing each other and seemed cheerful about the situation. If here, be sure to enjoy the Thermopolis Hot Springs. They are nearby and very pleasant.
Well situated with spectacular views. We got an electric/water site late in the afternoon without a reservation. Nice level sites with lots of room. The nature trail is not maintained and was impassable within about 200 yards.
Earlier reviews almost scared us off entirely, but the point here is location and access to Grand Teton National Park. The facilities are dated and minimally maintained and the price is high, but Park access is great. We would stay here again.
