This was our second winter at Desert Trails and we will be back for the 2011-2012 season. The owner and staff are very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make sure the whole park is looking great. Always something to do if you so choose, or you can go your own way. Have made many friends there and look forward to making more.
This campground has a lot of potential, but is sadly lacking in some areas. There were only two usable showers (long lines were common). One of which was for handicap and the stool was plugged on every morning we were there. There are two other doors marked shower, but found out that one is storage and the other was broken. The pool closed at 8pm, after a day of sightseeing would have liked to take a dip and relax. The lower part of the park had a constant sewer smell. The Wi-Fi was so slow that we gave up trying to use it. The price was right and they were helpful with delivering ice to our camp site. The laundry area was clean and all machines and dryers were working. Will definitely look for another park when in the area again.
