Nice campground. New, clean and a friendly staff. Very safe feeling while staying. I wouldn't have considered staying at the worlds of fun facilities, but we were very satisfied with our decision. Easy access to highway, but the noise wasn't a problem. Just a short walk to the Worlds of Fun entrance and you get an entry discount to the park. Pool is clean and provides life guards. Discount for Good Sam members.
Site is tight for big rigs. You need to walk down the street for access to a pool, but the entrance costs is free. We didn't hear any highway noise, but there is a train that passes.
Very crowded park (lots of camps sites). Front desk folks aren't the friendliest. Lots of trees, but they don't provide much sun relief. To reduce the 24 hour highway noise get a spot in the back (in the 50's number range). Pool is small for the number of campers. We drove our own car to the metro and parked for $4.25 a day. This was much cheaper and faster than catching the city bus which stops does stop in the park.
Great KOA. Bathrooms remodeled and very clean. Hosts friendly. The park is off the highway and quiet. Lots of big shade trees providing great cover. Nice pool and activities for the kids. The pillow bounce has limited open hours for the kids.
