This campground was the not very kid friendly. They had lots of staff on hand (some nice, some not) however, we felt like they were spying on us the whole time. They were always driving around in their golf carts looking at our sites. We were not allowed to bring in our own firewood so you have to buy from them. We thought the bouncing pillow was free but it turns out it was $2.00/day per kid. The staff would spy out the window at the pillow to see if people were breaking the rules. The pool was great ,and it was heated; however, the weekend did not cooperate with us. It seemed that a lot of non-families camped here. There was a lot of big rigs and fifth wheels here. The campground was very small and there was constant interstate noise and train noise. However, that was the only noise at night because most people were in their campers by 9:00 pm. So if you like a quiet environment with people spying on you all the time - then you will love it here.

We spent Memorial Day weekend here. It was really fun and the weather was nice. The campground was very crowded. My family said the bathrooms were clean, but the showers were pay. However, they said it was only $0.25 for 7 min and that seemed like enough time. They could have used more shower stalls. The beach was very nice but could have been a little bigger because it was crowded. The only problem we had is that we had 5 sites and they were all in the "older" section (20 amp) and we kept tripping the circuit. This meant that only one of us could have air on at a time. It got annoying when we wanted to put the kids down for naps because we couldn't all have air. We plan on staying here again, but we will try to get in the "newer" part where there is 30 & 50 amp service.

This campground is awesome. We live fairly close so we have never camped here but we will for sure be back. The night rate was a little high it was $40 for us because my hubby works there, everyone else in our group paid $45/night. However this included full hook-up (electric, water, sewer, cable). We stayed in circle drive 3 and it was less wooded than circle 1 & 2 but it was still more wooded then a lot of campgrounds we have been to. Also the bathrooms were super clean and the showers were also very clean. Circle 3 has a huge playground for the kids (slides & a small zipline). The kids played there all the time. We camped with 15 adults, 17 children, and 6 dogs. There is also a very cute 18 hole mini golf ($5/per person). However, on Fri. night they had free glow in the dark mini golf. It was packed and everyone has so much fun. They also have a lot of free activities for the kids all weekend (hay ride, crafts, beach, movie w/popcorn, shuffleboard, frisbee golf). There are also a lot of walking/hiking trails. The water at the beach was a little cold but the kids still had a great time. You can also rent canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, paintball equipment, and laser tag all at reasonable prices. Every weekend they have a theme also - this weekend was sports. They had a mini triathalon on Sat. morning for kids and adults. The only down fall was the trumpet at 0545, 0600, 0700, 1200, 1700, 2200 & 2300. And there was occasional shooting and bomb like noises. However, it was kind of cool to hear these things also - it was a reality check knowing that military was close by protecting us. We will for sure be back to camp at this campground.
