This park is still a work in progress. The present owners took over and converted it to a KOA in May or June and have been working hard to make improvements. The staff is all super friendly and helpful. We have a nicely shaded site with a large tree on either side that gives shade both morning and afternoon. The site is a little off level (large step up) but the jacks did OK on leveling. Lots of area to walk the dogs. This is the best Wi-Fi we have had in several weeks. Lots to see and do in the area we stayed here for 14 nights. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice campground that is the closest in to downtown Gatlinburg. The place well maintained and the sites are level and asphalt. They require that you use either wood or jack pads under your jacks. They have a nice off leash area and lots of area to walk the dogs. The sites are back to back so if the one behind you is not occupied you can access it like a pull-through. Electric was good but water pressure was a little light--did not need the pressure regulator. Internet was OK at the site. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice KOA. The sites are fairly level and the staff friendly. The grounds are clean. The interior roads are a little tight for a big rig but the pull-through sites are large enough. Water and electric are good and stable. The area is easily accessible to Asheville. We would stay here again.
The rate reflects TT membership. The sites are nice and level and the staff is friendly. Some power fluctuations and water pressure was good. Staff worked hard when we were there to keep up with work caused by the weather and did a good job keeping the place looking good. Wi-Fi in the sites is nonexistent--had to go to the clubhouse and even there was slow. Interior roads are easily traversed with car and big rig. We would stay here again.
This is a huge campground in Virginia Beach. The sites are back-in and fairly level. Electric and water are good. Hookups are easily accessible. This campground gets heavy use and the staff work hard to keep it up but the use shows. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly. They get the price due to location. They had entertainment on Saturday night. Due to the price would look elsewhere.
This is a really nice membership park. We were able to use it through Coast-to-Coast, with the additional charge for 50 amp. The grounds are extremely neat and well cared for. The sites are concrete back-ins that have river access so you can tie a boat up at your site. The pool areas are clean and kept up. Power and water were as advertised and area was great for walking the dogs. They have an off-leash fenced area for the puppies as well. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a RV park with a mobile home park in the back. There are quite a few permanent residents in the RV park area as well. The grounds were clean and the staff friendly and hard working. We stayed here two nights while visiting Appomattox Court House which is just down the road (driving). The power was as advertised and water pressure good. The sites are all pull-through and the interior roads are easy to navigate with the car attached. The place is a good place to stay while visiting the area. We would stay here again.
This is an easy on and off interstate 81 near Roanoke, Virginia. We stayed here twice once in July for one night and then in August for 3 nights. The sites are pull-throughs and the power is sometime a little low. There are not a lot of choices in the area, and this one is acceptable. Staff was friendly. There are quite a few permanent residents. Interior roads are gravel and easy enough to maneuver with a big rig. Easy to get into Roanoke. Would stay here again if in the area.
This is basically a large former pasture with RV hookups. Everything is grass and not a tree for shade anywhere. We stayed here for one night and it is a great overnight. Easy access and pull-throughs but not much else. Area was clean and staff friendly. Would use this for an overnight stop any time.
We stayed here over 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a quiet place for the weekend and this place fills the bill. At the time, it was a membership campground so you needed a Coast to Coast, AOR or other affiliated membership. The price was $9 per night plus $2 for 50 amp. The staff was friendly and provided a watermelon feed on the 4th of July. The campground is isolated from shopping grocery stores, etc., so bring everything you will need or a tow vehicle. The grounds were clean and the permanent guests were few. This is a quiet restful place. We would stay here again.
This is a very clean well maintained park. The staff was friendly and helpful. They escorted us to our site and helped backing in and hooking up. All spots are back in most with shade during some part of the day. Pets are absolutely forbidden on any of the grass area but there is a dog run at the rear of the park and a pet walking area at the front. The wi-fi was good and our site was wide and deep. The rate reflects the weekly pay for 6 stay for 7 rate with a Good Sam discount. We will definitely stay here again.
This is a big parking lot with hook-ups. Every four sites has a power pedestal water and sewer so on half the sites the hook-ups are on the passenger side and half on the drivers side. Make sure you bring sufficient power lines, hose and sewer hose to reach. The sites are close together but you are right on the river and a easy walk across the bridge to the Clinton Presidential Library and Park. We stayed here for a convention and our group rented the entire park and surrounding area so the rate quoted was the rate charged by our convention group not necessarily the rate the park charged them. For what it is, a place to park in the middle of the state capital, it is good. The park is clean and the staff friendly, just know what you are getting.
We stayed here because of a sign we saw on the interstate and thought it would be fun. The camp sites are nice and long and with careful placement you can be level. Utilities are placed conveniently and the grounds are clean. There is lots to do and see on the ranch. We had some well placed trees that gave us shade most of the day. WiFi was non existent in our site. The staff was very friendly and the night we were there there was a movie night with free pop corn and drinks. The movie was Coal Miners Daughter. We would stay here again.
This park is a gem. We had a site right on the Mississippi River. The interior roads are nice and wide and easy to traverse for a bigger rig and the site was long and level. We were escorted to our site by a member of the staff. The have a laundry room and the washers and dryers are complimentary. The trash is picked up from your site three times a day. There were lots of shade trees. The only down side was the wi-fi was non existant in the area we were in but the view more than made up for it. This is a great place to go and spend some time and watch the river go by. We will definitely stay here again
This campground is clean and the staff is friendly. The interior roads are a little tight for larger rigs but the sites are nice and long and level. The wi-fi worked fine and there was little if any road noise. This was a good place to use as a base to explore the Fort Smith area. We would stay here again.
As stated before this is a city park that is nice and open with trees and level sites. There are plenty of 50 amp sites as well as 30. The park is nice and clean and well maintained and for the price is a great bargain. It is a couple of miles from the interstate so there is no highway noise. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a week. It is an adequate park for the money. Our rate was Coas-to-Coast, with the additional $2 for 50 amp. The park was clean and the sites were long and level but very narrow. The landscape was high desert with very few trees. The staff was friendly and helpful. With the C2C rate we would stay here again but if paying regular would look for something closer in to ABQ.
This park is on the far west end of Albuquerque. Camping World is right next door. There are a limited number of 50 amp sites, so advanced reservations are recommended. The park had a water leak while we were there and for about a day and a half we did not have water, but that is why we have a water tank. Wi-Fi was very weak to nonexistent. The park staff was friendly and overall the park was clean. Rate was th Coast to Ccoast Good Neighbor rate plus a $2 per night charge for 50 amp and tax. We would stay here again.
This is the only park in town. The park was clean with a friendly staff. We were at the edge of the park and Wi-Fi was very weak. There was a clean fenced lighted off-leash dog park. The landscape was typical of the area (no large shade trees). A real find was Don Diego's Restaurant in the old town area--great New Mexican food. The park is right on historic route 66 but everything is a drive.
We stayed here three nights while we toured the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert and Meteor Crater and Winslow. The park was clean with a high desert landscape (no large trees) The staff was friendly and they had a cookout each night. There was a dog walking area as well as an off leash fenced dog run. We were close to I-40 but the noise was not bad. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 16 niights- Rate is an average paid,we had 7 nights Passport America and 9 nights Good Sam. This park has exceeded our expectations in every regard. The grounds are clean, the restrooms and showers are spotless and the laundry room is great. Machines work as advertised and dryers actually dry clothes on one cycle. An added bonus is there is a dog kennel/ cat boarding area attached to the facilities. We inspected the grounnds before we put our 2 furry children in and the place was immaculate. They made everyone walking into the kennel area walk over a mat with disinfectant to insure no outside germs/pests are brought into the kennel area. You will need shot records and a bortadella shot within the last 6 months but they will do the bortadella at the kennel for $15.00. Charges for the kennel very reasonable. Wi-Fi was good in our site and best of all the historic section of route 66 downtown Williams is within walking distance of the park, and so is a Safeway grocery store. All of the parking areas are asphalt and the park requires jack pads under your jacks so as not to ruin the surface. The area between campsites is crushed volcanic rock that keeps the dust down. Sites are level and most are pull thrus. They have a dog walk around the park with poopbag dispensers and trash cans in stratigic places. Overall this has been a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay and a top notch park. We will definitely stay here again.
This is a clean park mostly extended stay people. Not very fancy but close to Seattle and very functional. The interior roads were tight and the sites very narrow, gravel and difficult to level, however the hookup were well placed. The laundry room was clean. We would stay here again
This is a fairgrounds RV park, but it is very clean and the sites are reasonably level. There is electric and water at every site and a dump station nearby. There is motocross practice in the afternoons but it stops at 9:00 PM sharp and on the weekends there is auto racing but there is no road noise. There are trains that run nearby. This is a good place to stop if you need a park in the Everett, Seattle area. Most of the time there are only two or three other rigs in the area. We have stayed here many times when we visit friends in the area and will stay here again.
This is another excellent park. The sites are wide and pull through. The interior roads are easy to navigate. There is a huge fenced pet area and the entire park is very clean. Rate reflects Passport America. We would stay here again.
This is a great park. From the minute you get there the staff work to make sure you have a great stay. You are escorted to your site that is immaculate and level. There are plenty of pet walking areas and an off leach fenced run. Each site is concrete and grass and the interior roads are nice and wide and easy to navigate. We would definitely stay here again.
This is our second time staying here in two years. This is a nice park with a friendly staff. Pet friendly, but no fenced dog run. Surrounding neighborhood is great for walking dogs. Park is tight for big rigs, but doable. Wi-Fi is good and sites are level with grass. Very clean. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a great park! New wide sites with very nice interior roads and pull thru sites. Lots of grass all around. The only downer is the dog run is small, but it does have an area if you want to wash your dog. Sites are concrete and gravel and well manicured. Rate reflects Good Sam rate. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean park with nice pull thrus and big rig friendly. Great off leash dog area, big enough for the dogs to run and play and far enough away from camping area that they can bark and romp. Great for an overnight stop. Wi-Fi was spotty probably due to the high winds. Would stay here again.
This is a nice clean park with few trees. This area of Wyoming most of the parks are the same way. Very nice fenced dog run. We were guided to our spot and the staff was very friendly. They gave us chocolates for the humans and dog treats for the dogs. Cute touch. Rate is based on an Escapees discount.
Very clean, nice RV park. Staff was very friendly and worked hard to keep park looking nice. We were here during the floods that hit the area and every time the rain let up staff members were out cleaning and tending to flood issues that needed work. Once the rains stopped, it was nice to see the managers out walking the park every night talking to guests and making sure the guests' needs were being handled. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice clean park with friendly staff. Very pet friendly, They had two dog runs one dirt one grass. Sites were large had plenty of room for slides and parking the car. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean park with great scenery. Very restrictive with dogs. Got a whole sheet of rules. Could only walk the dogs in the pet area not around the park, which is very limited in length, not fenced in and also in direct full sun with no shade. Right on highway, so walking anywhere from the park is difficult. No major highway noise. Rate reflects a Good Sam discount and increased rate for Labor Day weekend. We would not stay here again.
