Staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean although a bit dated. Entire campground was tidy. Perhaps the best part is that campsites were spacious and many right next to the lake. Views were incredible. Bring a kayak or canoe and enjoy paddling around the inlet. Also, there were a couple of really neat restaurants in the area. There was no sewer hook-up. Additionally, there weren't organized activities for children or teenagers (at least in the spring). I'm told Wi-Fi is available in the summer but it wasn't turned on in the spring. This was a negative for someone who unfortunately needs to check into the office online. Overall, the scenery is so wonderful that all other deficiencies melt away. I'd recommend it to others and would camp here again.
Clean and well-maintained. Wi-fi worked well. Campground was quiet and a pleasant place to relax between activities in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The campground itself did not appear to have many activites for children or teenagers (other than the pool) but with the strip just over the hill and trolley stop across the street, it wasn't really needed. The only negative is that the park isn't shaded; however, you can get some partial shade if you get a spot by the creek. I plan on going back soon.
