A very nice park. It's nice that some of the waterfront sites are reservable and others are first come, first served. Being a state park I thought the sites would be larger, but they were big enough. Not especially level, but workable. Gnats were terrible while we were there, but might just have been because of all the rain. There's a swimming beach too. We would go back.
This is a new campground that is just getting started. No shower house yet, but with full hook ups, that didn't matter. Five lakes with excellent fishing. One lake has a swimming beach. Paddleboats and row boats available to rent. Well maintained. The owner is always around to make sure things are fine and your stay is enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to go.
Regular campsites are cramped, premium sites are somewhat larger. Wireless internet was spotty. Staff was very friendly but somewhat untrained. Spotless shower house and laundry room. The pool is nice.
