The previous post pretty much hit this park right on the head. Park is very run down with the majority of sites taken by long term tenants. Park staff was rude. The park remind me of what a Hollywood film makers perception of Trailer Trash Village USA.would be.
Very expensive for what you get, Some of the sites will not accommodate a 40' rig. My assigned space was all tarmac. No outside table. WiFi was a additional charge but not working when we were there. Nice club house and pool area. The park hosts numerous free events, There was a car show and hamburger feed with 50's music on the day we arrived. But beware: This is Not a 55 plus park, but was advised this is an "Active Adult" park! Large group with young children next to us was outside past midnight partying. Kids on one side and barking dogs on the other. I will not stay here again.
Great staff. Spent 14 days on 1000 Trails membership. Park was near full and manager managed to fit me in for the balance of the month @ $17.00 day. Try and stay in West end of park away from dairy and turkey farms nearby. Park was very clean, but in need of upgrading. Good 30 amp power. Some 50 amp power coming soon @ $5.00 day upcharge.
The Good: Some large sites, with some pull thru's, but most are back in. Big shade trees. The Bad: Almost all improvements need upgrading. The rest rooms were somewhat clean of trash but in need of a good deep cleaning. Low voltage 30 amp power. Lots of run down long term campers. Noisy with motorcycle and car turn ups going on. Sites and roads are a mix of gravel and dirt that turns to mud and small lakes when it rains.
