Very nice campground. Our site was nice but difficult to get into. Watched numerous campers have difficulty getting into their spot. Other than that the campground is in a great location with access to miles of bike trails that circl the island. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Very nice campground. Family had a great time crabbing, riding bikes and swimming in the beach area. Crabbing off of the piers was a lot of fun for the kids, just keep the bug spray handy. Speaking of bugs, the amount of ticks was unbelievable. The first 10 minutes of setting up out campsite (Tulip Loop) we saw 4 ticks on our camping mat. Wife is allergic to ticks so she wasn't too happy. Just had to keep a watchful eye the 5 days we were here. Use plenty of bug spray and you should be fine. The biking was excellent, nice flat roads and the not much traffic at all. My 5 year old learned to ride without training wheels a week before and felt safe riding in this campground.

Very nice campground. Excellent views and the staff was extremely friendly. Majority of campground was recently redone or new. The bathrooms, store, main office were nicely done and well appointed. Stayed here during Easter weekend and there were plenty of activities hosted by the CG. Cable TV, Wi-Fi, and hook ups were excellent and trouble free. Only reason CG did not get a higher score was because the bathrooms were dirty. Sand, dirt and grass all found their way into the bathrooms and made a muddy mess. Showers did not drain well and caused the floors to be wet all of the time. Showers were strong and hot but overshot the show curtain causing again more wet floors. Placing stone around the entrance of the comfort station or even floor mats may help with keeping the bathrooms clean. This was opening weekend and were very eager to fix any issues that came up. I am sure by the time you read this, most of these issues should be taken care of. Great campground overall and we will definitely be back this summer.

Very nice CG. Our site in section E was shady and had a nice view of the lake. Plenty of activities (donuts with dad, fishing tournament rock skipping contest etc) during Father's Day weekend. Staff was very friendly! Drive to OC was not bad, 15-20 mins. Frontierland water park was free to campers and our boys loved it.

Reviewed this park before, but this time we stayed in the North East Loop(full hook-up); great campsite. Bathrooms were very clean and appear to have been refurbished recently. Showers were hot and stong enough to strip paint. Staff and rangers were extremely friendly and helpful. Only reason why did not get a higher score were the ridiculous number of ticks we collected over the weekend. Amusingly, saw a good number of lizards and snakes at the campsite also nothing poisonous or dangerous. Great CG!

Fantastic campground. Bathhouses were pristine. The staff was very vice. We stayed in the 1400 loop which was very convenient to the campfire site and theater. Will stay here again when kids get older.

Very friendly staff. The CG is convenient to DC and the staff was very helpful with getting us there. Bathroom facilities were very clean. The pool was a welcome and refreshing way to end a long and hot day in DC. Free Wi-Fi had a strong signal. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice state park. Site was level a good size. Swimming pool was huge and not crowded at all during the weekdays. Pool can get pricey at $4/person considering it only cost $14/night for campsite. Heard it can get very crowded on weekends too.(1900 capacity). Very close to Hanover, Gettysburg, (took a day trip there), and York. Overall a great cg. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent CG. Bathrooms were well maintained, very strong hot showers. Campsite was clean and level. Access to beach was a very short drive. Beach was unprotected but water was shallow for over 100yds and felt comfortable that our kids could swim on their own. Very rocky for first 20 feet into water which calls for wearing water shoes or sneakers. Several activities available on the weekends, nature center included. One of our favorite parks will definitely come again soon..

Nice park. Site(F6) was level and had view of pond. Bathrooms were dirty and had lots of spiders. Has water park nearby and it is inexpensive. Pond is beautiful with lots of hiking trails. Will stay here again.

Stayed here weekend of NASCAR race. No major traffic problems to and from CG coming from PA. Had an end site closest to playground. Very nice site and access to beach was convenient. Bathrooms were clean and seemed new. Wife said bathrooms were very hot inside not well ventilated. Mens room were just fine. Would stay here again.
