There is a fantastic Mountain View! Parking your RV is different, sort like parallel parking your trailer, with the campsite off away from the street. Small camp areas, but adequate since the views are too pretty to be sitting around your campsite. It is very close to the downtown Banff (by vehicle, quite a long walk), transit buses pick up at the park. PS if you like horse trail rides, there are great trail rides with great views. Parking in Banff is very difficult due to congestion, use the transit system or be prepared to walk several blocks.
Highly recommended with helpful, polite staff. Full service including cable TV. Excellent Dog play area (K9 Kamp). About 10 minutes to Hinton, and less than a hour to Jasper. The drive from the park to Jasper is nicer then Calgary to Banff. The only complaint I have is that there should be more KOA parks in Alberta. This is the only KOA park in Alberta. PS if you don't have a RV they have various types of Kabins which seem very nice. Also for group kampers, there is an excellent common kitchen area, also a common fire pit shelter.
Potential to be a real nice RV park. Located in an industrial area with a large sports field near by. Pets must be walked outside of the park, which can be quite some distance for some of the campers (I would recommend that they need to create a couple more areas). No playground. If your RV doesn't use 50 amp power, you'll need to have an adapter (50 amp to 30 amp)or buy one there for $30 (which is a reasonable price). Washrooms are too small, 3 showers, one toilet and two urinals (showers and toilet tends to have a line-up during peak times). No laundry or store (you'll need to drive about 5-10 minutes). Check out the rules before you book. One rule that should be added is the mandatory use of sewer donuts. Small shrubs and plants (very new park).
