We have been wanting to check this place out for a very long time, because of the bad reviews some left we didnt do it and finally did decided to go. Put it this way, we were supposed to stay for 10 days, and after the first night we decided to go seasonal. There are tons of activites for the kids and adults as well. Smoking is only allowed in the ADULT REC HALL. There are smokers there, just like anywhere else, but the only place that smoking is allowed is in the adult rec hall. This campground is huge, theres alot of seasonals, tons of children and alot of golf carts but its the same at alot of other campgrounds. For the amount of people that camp here, its very quiet at night, and I didnt see one person driving a golf cart who was drunk. Everyone is friendly and they always pass by and say HI. If theres a problem and it gets reported it gets taken care of right away. Theres nothing bad to say about this place at all! If you enjoy family camping and want your kids to have fun, this is the place to go. Dont let the other reviews get to you. We hope to stay here for a long time!
Campground is decent. Al ot of very OLD campers that were seasonal, sitting for a long time and falling apart. Sites are kind of small. We got to look around to see what was open and got to pick a different site than what we were supposed to be on.New owners are very nice, some activites ie, bingo, kareoke and wagon ride. The pool is nice. Only complaint is they want fires out at midnight, no execptions, but people in the back still were blazing their fire.
We reserved 2 sites side by side, one of our friends canceled, so we called and re booked the other site in the next couple of days, well before we left our friends called to see if they could leave a day earlier, they said they didn't even see the 2 sites. They only saw the one site reserved. They put us on a different site than what we originally wanted, and put our friends far away from us. The owner blamed it on his daughter and was a real jerk about the whole situation. We were down at the campground store and overheard another conversation with the owner with another couple who had the same problem with their site, and again, it was the daughter who took the reservation. This place has an old playground with old swings and hasn't been updated in a very long time, only riverfront sites are seasonal, there are NO activities for the kids to do. Only some video games which most of them are shut off during the day. The sites are decent, but we will never be going back again.
This place is ok. Close to Salisbury beach. The site we had was very tight. Not a whole lot of room to move around, trailers and tents just looked like they were put whichever way anyone wanted them. Quiet hours were from 11pm to 7 am which no one enforced them. We have a young baby and the people in the next site were up drinking all night and loud. Some people even had their dogs barking for all hours of the night. I wouldn't recommend this campground unless you are into partying until the early morning hours.
We had a good time at this campground. Everyone was friendly and nice to be around. They have hayrides and the kids are able to make their own sundaes. They do have an indoor pool but we didn't take advantage of it.
This campground is very nice. Its not very big but they have some really nice sites. They have some great activities for everyone! We went here twice in the same month, but the weekends that they have activities, the place is packed, so I'd say, book early! Our site was large and shaded. There is a swimming pond for the kids. The only downfall is there isn't fishing allowed in the pond, but the kids are able to catch frogs and salamanders. I think this campground would be a lot better if there was a pool. There isn't really a lot of places to access the river, unless you go through someone elses site. I would definitely camp here again.
