Very nice park. Lots of empty sites. Staff was very friendly. No television. The WiFi was very iffy if it worked at all. I was not able to use it. Rate is Passport America, so that made it easy to deal with. Located about 9 miles from the freeway, but worth the drive. We would stay here again in the future.
Whenever we are needing to stop for the night at La Grande, we stop here. Only complaint I really have, the Wi-Fi is very slow. And the more people that use it, the slower it gets. The staff are always very friendly. The park is really nice and we do enjoy staying there. Definitely stay there again if need be.
Although instructions were at the office, no one was in the office. I did call the number listed to make sure that they had sites available. Owner came over to make sure that we got set up all right. Both man and wife were very friendly and nice. Man explained that they just took over the park about an year ago and they were still working on getting everything up to par. Although there is no Wi-Fi available right now, they are working on getting it set up in the near future. Nice for an overnight stay or several days to check out sights around Lovelock.
We were looking for a site for the night and pulled into this park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites are narrow. We were barely able to put out our slide. The neighbors were only 3 feet away from the slide, if that. Even though there was 6 sites for overnight, only 3 of them are usable by rigs longer than 30 feet. And that is questionable. The site we were in was really too short for us. Our rig is a 30 foot Class A motor home and Jeep toad. The sites are gravel and fairly level though. WI-Fi is an extra charge. I did not get it. Although the manager was out mowing, he was mowing mainly weeds, very little grass in the park. We may or may not stay here again.
We pulled into the rv park and was pleasantly surprised to see a very nice park. Green grass all around. Sites were very nice. Concrete to park on with nice grass on both sides of parking. Sites are quite large and that was so nice after parking in narrow sites. Sites are very level and long. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a nice visit with them. If we are in the area again and need a site for the night, will definitely stop.
This was not our first stay here. Was looking for a site for 4 nights. Nothing was available in the hook up section. And that is all right. We can dry camp/boondock for at least that long in our rig. I chose a site plenty long enough for our 30 foot motorhome and park my Jeep in front of it. The only downside is the site is right at the front of the park, just off the main highway and there is lots of highway noise during the daytime hours. But not enough to really bother me. Site is pretty level. Fire ring is not usable, due to being right at the end of the parking pad. Lots of shade. We would stay here again.
The RV park that we normally stay in was closed permanently, so I chose this park as it was the only one available close to where we wanted to be. It is not a bad park, staff was very friendly. Well maintained. But sites were just too close together. Many sites were taken up by long term and looked like permanent renters. Did have a nice dog walk not too far away from our site. The sites are concrete and grass and were pretty leveled. Yes, we would return to this park, as it is close to where we needed to be. The only downside is dealing with all the traffic you have to go through getting to the park.
We had stayed in the park several years ago, so this was a return visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Did not have reservations, but sites were available. Received everything I asked for. One night, pull through, free Wi-Fi, pet friendly. We would definitely return if we are in LaGrande.
This was not our first stay here. Have stayed in the past. Since the last visit, new gravel has been put down, so you are not having to deal with dirt. Staff was friendly like usual. This time they do have free Wi-Fi to the back of the park; which is nice. We will definitely return when we need to. Plenty of space back of park to walk dogs. Very clean and well maintained.
As we made our reservations just 2 weeks before our arrival, we were hard pressed to find 2 sites. It was Easter Jeep Safari in Moab this past week. So we basically had to take what we could get. First off, we arrived before rest of our party did. I checked in. One thing I wanted to check out was could we put our rigs in with the doors facing each other. Clerk said no problem as one site was back in and the other pull through. Okay. We can handle that. Well, when we got to the sites, there was no way any one could use the site as a pull through. No access road to allow that, and there are mature trees blocking one end of the sites. We adjusted and pull our motor home into the site. When family members arrived later that night, they backed in. Sites were not very level. Had a hard time trying to get motor home level. Husband and son used the park showers. First time, they said the showers were nice. Second use, showers were dirty and no water pressure. According to the clerk, there was suppose to be free wi-fi. I never could get a signal. We would like to go back to Moab, but we will look at other parks to stay in.
This is a nice place to spend one or more nights. Sites were a good size, both for width and length. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although they did have wi-fi, it was not working correctly. Clerk did say that it may or may work correctly and a repair man was suppose to be there the next day to correct the problem. The park was in very good shape.
This was not our first visit to this park. And that is how come we returned. Lady in office was fantastic and very nice. We had a very good visit. She was very helpful. Sites are nice, wide, long, and well cared for. The park is well cared for. We had no problems at all in the park. Would definitely stay there again.
During our stay, the electricity went off three times. Each visit to the office to see what the problem was, resulted in the problem not being solved. But instead of the employees stating that someone had done a poor electrical wiring job, they blamed the visitors to the park. I was asked if I had turned everything on in my motor home. Told the clerk that I did not, and that everyone else close by was also without electricity. One camper, next to our site was told she could not use her AC and microwave at the same time. It would cause the electricity to go off in the whole park. Each time, the staff made it clear that it was the fault of the campers staying in the park that the electricity went off. When I asked for a partial refund of money, was told that wasn't gonna happen. Another problem was staff that did not know what they were doing. One man was suppose to direct campers in backing into sites. He had no clue how to do said job. He tried to put us into a site that was too narrow for our unit. The staff really needs to have some customer service training. There is no way that we will stay in this park again. And I have already made it known the problems we had on several Yahoo rv groups. If asked in the future for a recommendation for this park, there is no way.
The owners of the park are new to rv park ownership and want to give all their guests a pleasant experience. As we parked there in December, there was no water available at the sites. Park is very nice. The owners are fantastic. We will return. This park is located on the banks of the Snake River.
