Great park, very well manicured. Previous posts about steep road are true, but trees are trimmed and our 40' 5th wheel made it down. Right on the river with docks available. Very nice owners, always there willing to help out in any way. Would definitely stay here again.
I hate to be totally negative so, the 50 amp service was good. Wi-Fi was okay, but charged for each day. Hookups on wrong side of RV. Park Very run down. Lots were part grass part large rocks. Lots of old, I mean, Old trailers. We had reserved 5 days, when checking in changed that to 2. After 1 night, we left, they did refund the 2nd day lot rental. Staff was friendly. Would not camp here again
Super nice woman at office (owner). She was very helpful with area attractions. Park clean and well manicured. Sites not quite level, but there are lots of pull through sites with full hookups. Rate is Passport America and would stay here again.
Easy in and out, most sites are pull through. WiFI is up and down more than a yo-yo. Actually, down more than up, even in their laundry area. No one monitors the speeding of vehicles in the park. There are full hookups and a great view of the lake.
This is a nice, new park on Santa Rosa Sound. Sites by the street are noisy from beach traffic. Wi-Fi is very slow. Location is great, walk to restaurants, bars and beach activities. Rates are high but it is in a vacation hotspot.
Owners are very friendly and laid back. Lots of dogs running loose, be careful where you walk. It had rained the day before we arrived and there was Mud everywhere. Lots of Winter Texans and workers. Needs a lot of work. We paid Passport America rate. Regular rate of $35.00 totally way too much for what is there.
The only reason we decided to camp here is because they advertise a covered and heated pool. The cover didn't exist. When we made the reservation, this was not revealed. We heard about it after setting up from one of the volunteer workers. The also advertise Good Sam members. They took my number but did not receive discount. It is a nice park, easy in and out.
The Passport American rate was $20.00. No way is this park worth $40.00. It is mainly a mobile home park. There is absolutely nothing to do here. We understand it is under new ownership, but still can not see a $40.00 rate. The sewer connections are covered with a 2 liter soda bottle.
No Wi-Fi, at all. No bathrooms, no showers. Connections are not convenient to RV. Just a bad campground. The "office" is an "antique" shop. Actually a junk store. The only reason we stayed here is because the campground we had reservations for had a problem of no water. This place is not even good for an over nighter.
Pull through sites. Some sites by the lake. Sites are level but not grassy. The office is a very busy convenient store, therefor, there is little attention paid to the campground by the staff. There is also a boat launch and many tournaments during the year. The campground has lots of traffic during these times. Very little shade, sites narrow.
Great place for children to ride a real steam engine train. Owners are constantly adding new things to the campground. Sites are pull through and gravel. Not all sites are level. Indoor pool is great in all seasons. "Lake" gets a lot of algae in summer. Only minutes away from Fairhope, Al, which is a wonderfully quaint town.
Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and well kept. Laundromat is clean and reasonable. Large Recreation room. The city bus picks you up right across the street, much easier that driving downtown.
