We have camped here twice. Our family enjoys the Apple Blossom Festival which is about 10 miles away. The bath houses are very clean and staff was nice. There is some noise from highway, but not too bad. Pools and water slide were not open when we camped there, but look nice. We will request a site near the entrance next year. We were in the 300 section this year and it was too far away from the playground and store for our family.
Our whole family has camped here several times over the past few years. We always have a great time. There are plenty of activities for the entire family. My kids especially like riding the Dragon Wagon with their mascots Splash and Magic. The Halloween weekends are the best! They also post pictures on their website from each weekend of the campers. In my opinion, this is a great campground.
This campground is under new ownership, previous owner let the park go a bit and it got a bad reputation. The new owners are working very hard to reverse the image and make sure you are satisfied with your visit. The owners are always around and are very friendly and helpful. They escort you to your site upon arrival. As typical with a Yogi park, there is a schedule full of activities for children. One of the activities that went along with the chocolate themed weekend was a chocolate syrup slip and slide that the kids loved. There are plenty of shaded sites and we had WiFi access from our site (site 76). Impressive list of cable TV channels to keep the kids occupied if needed. The campground is located close to some day trip locations. We drove into Scranton to visit the Steamtown National Park and took a ride on the train. We will definitely make this a yearly stop for us.
