We were pleased with this park from arrival to departure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It is an older, but well kept park. The bathrooms/showers were spotless. The sites were plenty long, but typical "close to your neighbor." That is in most parks, but we had plenty of room on both sides for our slides. Reading a previous post I wonder if they stayed at the same place. It is far from horrible and I felt safe at all times. Winds are expected on the plains and dust happens at any park in a drought. We saw trains in the distance; but noted them being loud, but I suppose a strong wind from that direction may change that. The airport was close, but seemed to be closed at night. We'll definitely be back on our way home.
Close to I44 and when we called it was a "park and drop your money in the box place" that worked well for us. It is an old park that has several monthly residents. They were in the back of the park and up front were about a dozen pull through sites. They are close, but we had no problem. I think if a neighbor wasn't in the center of their site it may be an issue. No amenities, but a park and sleep spot. It is far enough from I44 to have no road noise. A railroad is nearby (just like most main highways), but there must not be any crossings close, because we never heard a horn. We'll stay again.
