Very nice campground. Specific sites may be reserved, which is a nice feature. All paved roads. Large sites. Sites are situated at an angle from the roads which made backing in very easy. Water spigots are available in a few places in each area, so you need to be sure to reserve a site within reach of your water hose to refill your tank. If there were more water spigots, I would have given this park a 9 or 10. Camp store is very well stocked. If you like to bike or run, there are nicely paved trails. Will definitely return.
The rate of $15/night was a special rate for this particular weekend. The campground and the setting is beautiful. The roads are all paved, the sites are well marked. We had a back-in site and it was difficult to back in due to the amount of kids on bikes and adults just walking beside the trailer as we were trying to back it up. A little unnerving, and inconsiderate. Our area of the campground was very noisy. I thought it might be because of the low rate, but other people who have camped there have told us that the campground is always noisy. We like the park and campground, and will camp again, but during the week or in off-season.
This was a very nice park. We arrived after office hours, but there was a map with our information on it at the night registration area. Our site was level and did not require any leveling blocks, and we did not see any leveling blocks on the campers/motorhomes in our area. The dog park was a hit with our kids and the dog alike. Free Wi-Fi, but we could not access it very well at our site because of our distance from the office. Kids loved the pancake breakfast on the weekend. Will definitely return.
