Nice staff. Lots of full timers here. The park is nothing great (gravel roads, no grass anywhere) but would stay here again because of the location (fairly close to things) and the price - not for a long stay, though. We had full hook ups, OK cell service (not great) but no internet. Our AT&T air card would not work so we finally decided to pay for one day on some sort of RV Wi-Fi service. The rate reflects a Passport America membership.
Very small park. Roads were dirt and rock. There is a mention of a picturesque pond in the PA directory. Not sure I would call it picturesque - cannot fish or swim in pond. Since there were lots of large mosquitoes I am going to assume they come from this icky pond. Our space was narrow and we could not put out our awning for shade. The trees were not adequate to shade the space or our rig. Laundry was two washers and two dryers. We went into town to do laundry. There is NOTHING in this park. The office looked like a new structure and was nice and clean. The pet area was AWFUL! I would not let my dog in there and I really wouldn't call it a pet area. The PA directory did not say anything about paying in cash but the staff was insistent about getting cash. This park is located on a highway and while it is not a heavily used highway by some standards, it was loud at times. I would not stay here again. I would try another park in the area and there are a few.
Very clean and orderly park. Made on-line reservations, so check in was very quick and easy. Park had a good layout. Plenty of room to move rigs around. Confusing entrance and exit, entrance sign was very small. Office staff should have mentioned how to exit the park. After we disconnected our car we drove around a bit trying to figure out how to get back onto the freeway. This park is right off of I-5 and next to a truck stop, so there was some traffic noise.
The interior roads are paved and in great shape. Easy pull through. The staff was very friendly. The park was neat and clean. We did feel though that we were not allowed on the grass at our site. We noticed people sitting on the blacktop in their chairs. It is very close to Highway 101 so expect noise from there but it was easy access to north or south of Eureka. When we first called, the price per site was a little higher than I expected but in the end the price was lowered. I would never stay here for the original price quoted. Very close to the area attractions which we liked. Great Harley Davidson store right next door.
This is a no frills type campground. Staff is very nice. The laundromat is clean. Gravel roads are ok. The interstate is very close along with it's noise. No cell service through our AT&T phone. Their Wi-Fi signal is very weak but sometimes works. There is no pay phone in town so one has to go up onto the interstate and head towards Billings to get a signal. The campground is about 50 miles outside of Billings and any other attractions so plan on long drives to get anywhere like shopping and sightseeing but the price is right. Shade in only one spot but each site has it's own little grass area with a picnic table and the weather was pretty mild when we were there in July. There is an active train track behind the park and the train toots it's horn as it comes through, loud and clear. We would stay again for a short visit. We would rather be closer to the area attractions.
