This is an excellent park. Well taken care of with spacious sites. Do need to be careful on choice as not all are level but many work well. We camped on and off here all summer. If had FHU it would be a 10. They are in the process of adding 20 FHU sites to be open next summer. Can buy a coupon book that reduces the cost. It is a bargain. We will be back here when we return to the area.
This is a huge campground but very few spots our 32' 5th wheel would fit and most of the sites aren't even close to level. There was no one on duty at the entry post so no way to know what had reservations. Only stayed 1 night as the only site we could find that we fit was reserved for the next night. The computer system crashed twice loosing all my info both times when trying to register. We would not return here.
If they had FHU we would give it a 10. This is a small park with level sites. We stayed here on and off all summer. You can get a better rate by buying a coupon book from the host. Friendly and well kept up. Linn county does an excellent job on their parks.
Two campgrounds here. If you are in a bigger rig I would suggest the Chippewa campground. It is more open and easier to get in and out of. The Potawatomie campground is where we stayed and the loops are very tight. Heavily wooded on this side though some nice sites and very private. This park also has a great 10 mile paved bike trail. We would return here but stay in the Chippewa campground next time.
