This is indeed a family friendly campground withe the management actively engaged in organizing games and taking care of the facilities. Their location on a couple big hills with lots of trees makes it seem rustic, but it presents some challenges along with the ambiance. I found the young manager to be extremely helpful when I had a rainwater leak during a downpour. I liked the nice swimming pool and the nature trails as well as the hilly setting. They provide discounts for Passport America during the week and for Good Sam on other days.
Outback staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the sites do not offer shade. The facilities are clean and well maintained. My rate was using a Good Sam 10% discount. Their wireless Internet seems to work quite well.
