This place is a small city all by itself. A lot of stuff to do (for kids esp.) and a lot of things going on all day and night. I agree with most of the reviews here referring to the golf carts, but since we had teenagers with us it was a big hit. The sites are much better than other campgrounds in the area and they all face the same way which is a big plus for me. The problem for me is the security. They seem to have "beefed" it up during the golf cart cruising hours and promptly enforce the 11 pm ending time but it seems to lack in every other area. We had a bicycle stolen while we were there in broad daylight in the middle of the day. Security seemed very lax about it. "It will turn up" they said but it never did. I have never had to lock up anything at any other campground in my life. We also woke up to find some very nasty things placed on our trailer hitch one morning. Gross. Security found it funny. I don't understand why the area is not patrolled heavily being that they know all that goes on. If you have kids and are looking for the busy, lots going on place, this is for you. Just buy a lot of cables to lock up your stuff.
We love it here in the Spring and Fall. Summer months can be very hot since there are very few trees close to the sites and very little shade. All B loop sites are paved with fire rings that are cleaned between campers and lots and lots of space between sites.
My kids love it here and we return for a few days each summer. The pool is large and clean, there is a jumping pillow, playground and Saturday activities planned. The "lake" is really a small pond and the sites that are considered lake front might be hard for a large motorhome but no problem for our 31 ft travel trailer. Owners are friendly and helpful, some permanent site need a lot of TLC but others are fine.
We love to camp here and do so as much as possible. Large lots most of which are fairly level and plenty of room. My only complaint, there is a stream but the grass is so over grown around it that you can't get too it or see it. The other problem is that the park gate is locked (no gate house) so you can't get in or out after park hours. If you have an emergency that would require you to find a park ranger.
We spent 4 days here over a weekend and loved it. They had some activities for the kids on Sat and the jumping pillow and pool was a big hit. The pool was well kept and clean. We didn't use the bath house but it has been newly updated and looked very nice. My only complaint, the pond needs a good clean up. The fishing was possible but your lines kept getting tangled from all the debris. A few of the sites could use a little TLC, but the one we were on was just fine.
