I'm not really sure how to rate this CG. We only stayed for a short time to gain access to the springs and parks, plus Gainesville. It was a good location for that. The CG is divided into 3 areas - permanents, part-timers, and short-term. The short-term area was in long lines, with maybe 5 RVs spaces in each row. If you were not the first one in the line, you had to pull around the ones in front - which meant either going down a slight incline or going up a slight incline. On the way in there is an off/set speed bump that will knock everything out of your cupboard. There is a speed bump at the very exit, which is an odd place to have one. However , it is very easy on/off 75 and I noted a lot of big rigs over nighting. For families, there are animals to see and a parrot aviary. I was not so wild about the noisy parrot activity. At least they are quiet at night. People were very friendly and the bottom line is if I needed to be in this area again, I would use it. However, my husband says he doesn't need to see those speed bumps anytime soon!

This is a nicely laid out campground. It is very clean. It is not an "activity-oriented" park - it does have a horseshoe pit and the pool. We use this for long weekends to visit Cedar Key and enjoy nature and the quiet. The clubhouse is one of the nicest I've seen. I would recommend it for a rally!

We use this as an overnight on our way back north. Convenient on/off I-77. There seem to be a lot of long-term campers and the overnight get an area that does not have sewer hook up. There is a dump station on the way out. Our site was slanted downhill, but we did not have to unhook. A lot of road noise, but did not hear from RV when running AC or fan. It seems to be a popular overnight stop for RVers, as the area filled up as the evening progressed and most of us left in the morning.

This is a nice, clean park that is close to St. Simon, Jekyll Island area. We have camped here several times on our way back and forth from Maryland and Florida. The owners are friendly and helpful. For those who want to overnight, it is not far from the interstate and you don't have to unhook. We are 33 ft and towing and had plenty of room.
