We chose this campground based on its location and the wonderful reviews we read about it on this forum. The folks who ran the campground were very friendly and helpful when we had questions about attractions in the area. The laundry facilities were good. After a bad storm they were out and about, checking on the facilities and making adjustments to the road after the rain washed some gravel away. We highly recommend this campground.
This park had very roomy sites and was clean and attractive. Easy to get to. The only drawback we saw was that the dumpster was in the front of the park which made trash disposal a little inconvenient. We would highly recommend it.
The sites at this campground were very close together. Even though the campground was only half full, they still packed campers together, which left very little room for your slideouts and canopies. There were trees at nearly every site, which were just big enough to make turning in difficult, blocked satellite reception, and touched the slide outs. Both the men's and women's bathrooms had a horrible odor of ammonia and methane.
