An older park on the mend with new owners. Lots of grass with gravel spots and roads. New owners and new managers are working hard to improve this park. It is right downtown Fillmore. Well signed and easy access. I have a 38ft fifth wheel and had no problems. Site was level. Since it was raining I did not even disconnect. Very nice and quiet. Verizon WIFI 4G worked well. Would stay again.
As one reviewer put it "This is a Rustic Campground With all Facilities." It is about 3 miles from the freeway on a well paved road. Gravel once you get there. They had coin operated showers, but it appeared that the heads had been removed from all but one. That is why I said no showers. Very quiet. Summer appears to not be their prime season. No activities from May to September. We would return again. Rate is normally $34, We got a 10% senior discount.
Nice park. Quite a few seasonals. Only a few sites for short term. Owner was very helpful in making it work for everyone. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone he could. Sites were all grass. Roads were gravel/dirt. Stayed a week. Pay for 6 nights get 7th free. Nice and quiet at night. No trains and no highway noise. Will stay here again.
It is a little hilly, but I see no reason some are negative about it. My site was level right to left and I only had to raise the nose a bit to make it level front to back. NO BLOCKING REQUIRED. Site 104. Good shade, may bother those with satellite. Verizon service good. Gravel and dirt pads. Good staff. Would come back again.
Rather rustic. Our pull through was a little narrow for today's rigs. We had only Electric (30A) and Water in the pull through. Some of the back ins were FHU. The faucet had a broken handle. It had been that way a long time. Staff was pleasant. Verizon service was good. Not sure if I would go back, it needs some TLC. Rate includes discount.
Very clean and equipped park. Facilities in first class condition. Within walking distance to Evergreen Air and Space Museum. One of the best parks I have been in. Concrete pads and asphalt roads, grass between sites. Very level. Back from the highway and quiet. Some plane noise during the day. Verizon service good. Would come back here anytime. Rate includes Good Sam Discount.
Very well maintained park. Very large, but broken up into multilevel sections and does not seem that large. Sites are concrete or asphalt. Very level with facilities easily accessed. Rate is with Good Sam Discount. Verizon service was good. Would return again.
No cable TV. Someone was getting TV with an antenna. Verizon broadband and cell service was very good. Did not use the park Wi-Fi. Sites were very level. Gravel with small concrete walkway. Upper sites have grass and good space between. Lower sites are all gravel and are very close together. Traffic noise was minimal. Very dark as there is no lighting. Owners were very pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.
Very nice park. Sites very close together although we had enough room to put our two opposing slides out (14 feet in the back). Staff was good. Had a lot of rules and regulations. Security was high. Very controlled access. Cable TV quality was very good. Verizon Broadband and Cell coverage very available and good quality. Close to the Arches park entrance. Would stay again.
This campground is a 9 without the hiway and train noise. You do get used to it, but it is noisy. A few sites got TV by antenna, many did not. Verizon cell service was very spotty. Verizon Broadband was available although not great. Being in a canyon all of the "through the air" services were very limited. Prefer the Fruita location better.
Excellent park. Sites were mostly roomy. Facilities were in good shape. Verizon wireless and 3G worked well. Located close to Charleston. Is in a massive park with all types of activities. Off leash dog park is nearby. They were setting up the Festival of Lights when we were here: very beautiful. Check in was efficient and the staff very helpful. Some sites can be close to others. Quiet at night. There is good shade for most sites. Well lit at night. Average price in this area: utilized a Good Sam discount. Stayed 5 nights and would stay again.
A very nice park. Very wooded, sites had large areas and it felt very private. No sewer connections, but the dump station was well equipped. Lighting at night was very minimal and it was dark! Sites were a "C" off the road as a pull through. Park had recycle bins. It is located about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah. Stayed here 3 days and would stay again.
Was fine for a single night. Had a lot of airplane noise from a base around here. Rate reflects Camp Club rate. Would stay here again, but make sure to get to the back where the new sites are. Verizon wireless and 3G were good.
This is an excellent park. Sites on the most part are large. We had good Verizon service both phone and data. There is no cable TV, but digital local stations were received very well. Brand new laundry room with 8 washers and dryers. Need tokens from the office to run these machines. During the day we had noise from the small airport and the motor boats on the lake, but at night it was very quiet. The manager lives on the premises and there is a security gate during the day. Lots of activities in the adjoining park land. Will stay again.
We stayed 9 days. Nothing wrong with this park at all. Large staff and very helpful. Laundry was large and had a lot of washers and dryers. Snack bar, the food was very good and priced very reasonable. Pools were closed during our stay. Clean grounds and well maintained. Gravel sites, very level and facilities were in good shape. Easy access to freeways and Metro line. Would stay again.
Many sites in a wooded area. Is well shaded, and has good hook up facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were sandy. Ours was about 3 inches off level: had to use blocks. Dump station was well maintained. Would stay again.
Great place. Clean and well maintained. Small, but the space between sites is very reasonable. Some sites wider than others. Would stay away from sites 36, 37 and 38 as there is a pump that runs all night on the property next to the park. Not horrible, but don't do it if you don't have to. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Park has two washers and dryers. Would come again.
We were here for one night. Nice and quiet as it's off the hiway a ways. It appears the original owners are back running the facility. The water appeared fine for us and we had no problems with the electrical. There are quite a few long term trailers parked here. Overall I would go back again.
Hook ups were good at this park. Sites are asphalt and level (Row A & B. We were here on a Sunday, and before Memorial Day so everything was closed including the office. Just a one nighter. Has tight corners. Looks like it would be fun for kids if you came when they were open.
This was a great park. The charge is $25 for camp fees and $6 per car for park entrance. Hence the $31 charge. May charge double for motor-home and towed car. Very clean and facilities for hookups were very good shape. This place is usually pretty full so call ahead and make reservations recommended.
Thought I was back in history by 30 years at this campground. Poor maintenance of roads and sites. Mine had a broken 30 amp plug. Not very level and has not had new gravel for several years. Yet the rates charged were for a 4 star place. Will pass up this site next trip through here.
