We had stayed here before about 4 years ago. We were only passing through this time for one night, but called and were able to get a site. We had a nice pull through with great views of Santa Fe. There is a nice walking trail around the perimeter and desert landscaping throughout. The restrooms were spotless. Staff was friendly and attentive. We would stay here again without hesitation.
We really enjoyed our stay at this park. The park is all gravel and minor leveling was necessary on our riverfront site. The view of mountains and water was amazing, and the river was up due to the recent rains. The gravel roads held up very well considering the amount of rain received. The bathrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The park is very quiet at night and well off the highway. We had strong Verizon signal and had no problem with satellite TV reception. The park also has cable TV with many channels and a great picture. Although we did not use the heated pool, it is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Park is convenient to visit Silverton and Ouray as well as Durango. We would stay here again.
As others have stated, this park is ver convenient to San Diego attractions. The rate of $42 is the non-military price. The sites are gravel with a concrete pad. The interior road is somewhat narrow and tow vehicle is in the road during set up and exit. The sites are fairly close together, but quiet. There is a large common area with grass and covered tables. Each site also has a table. We would stay here again.
What a great spot! The sites are paved, level and spacious. The restrooms are spotless and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The views are fabulous. The lakeshore is within walking distance. There is a nicely stocked store on site. Town of Page is nearby and has Safeway and Super Walmart, as well as fast food and other restaurants. Hwy 89 is out due to a landslide. The detour adds about 50 miles to the trip from the south.
Park is very convenient to Opryland attractions and Grand Ole Opry. We were given lots of tourist information upon check-in, including coupons. Gravel roads and sites. We had to do some leveling. Dog walk area in the front. We were there during the record heat and shade is at a premium on most sites.
We stayed here overnight on the way home to Houston. The park is very quiet and has towering pine trees for shade. We were in a pull through with full hookups. The park was not crowded on a Monday night. The lake is walking distance from the campsites and was peaceful and pretty. We would stay here again.
This is a pretty nice state park campground. We had full hookups in site 22. Great majority of the sites have no sewer. Shade trees are abundant. Water hookups are a distance and a long hose is needed. The park was quiet and clean. Store on site is handy for snacks or drinks. Park is convenient to I-75 and a quick trip into Lexington. We never could get a satellite signal on Directv.
The management is very friendly and helpful. Sites are gravel but level. There is ample room to walk the dogs and there are shaded sites. We were able to set up satellite TV with no problems. The park has lake view and the sunsets were beautiful. We would stay here again.
This state park has large, shaded sites with a lot of space between each site. We stayed in the Hickory Hill campground which has full hook-ups. The majority of the sites in the park have electric/water only. The camp host was friendly and the park was quiet at night. We would camp here again.
This KOA is kept spotlessly clean, inside and out. The grass was mowed for ease in walking the dogs and the fenced in dog park was also clean and shaded. The security is great and the owners helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (third time.)
We really enjoyed our stay here. The desert landscaping between sites is a nice touch. The walking trail around the park is great for walking the dogs. Staff was friendly and responsive. The Wi-Fi was out for a day or two, but staff was working hard to restore service. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning as the park is on a hill. We would stay here again.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a rally of 8 travel trailers, and staff accommodated us in a great part of the park, with lots of shade and an empty site for our dinner. Staff was also provided packet on touring the area and recommended a good restaurant. Park had the feel of a state park. Wi-Fi worked great, even in the back of the park.
This RV park is very clean and well kept. The concrete sites are almost all pull-throughs and each site has a grassy area next to it. Park would have received a higher rating if all sites had picnic tables. We only saw a few with tables. The lake was very low, and the swimming beach was high and dry. Staff was friendly and helpful. We could not get the wi-fi to work at our site. The park was family oriented and quiet at night. We will stay here again.
