This place is like living in a can of sardines. Sites are not spacious at all, hardly enough room to get by your RV and the guy next to you. This place rents RV's and stores them in the best of the sites in this park. Noisy, with lots of dogs including mine and lots of kids.
We camped here for a week. Now if you like hillside this is it! This campground is located off I-40 in the small town of Tijares. The pool is ok and hottub is located inside but very small. Only one exercise bike for workouts. It seems allot of people stay here that work in Albuquerque, so lots of traffic up and down the hill. Would not stay here again as the place needs lots of TLC.
Nice Olympic size pool but cold! We had a nice end site. Store not open much! We did not use the bath houses they closed in some of the sections for remodeling as some of these Thousand Trails pks could sure use remodeling jobs. We now wonder if it is worth the membership since staying at allot of them! This park was close to a town to be able to buy groceries and whatnot. We stayed one week here.
We stayed here for 3 weeks for nothing as it was a TT pk and had wonderful end site next to clubhouse. Clubhouse was nice however the one pool next to it was not open when we arrived and had to drive to the one that was open. In the 3 wks the other pool did open up for Memorial Day. They had a nice turnout for the Holiday dinner and band. You have to drive out for ATT Cell service and we had to use our Wilson antenna for laptop service. Groceries area a way to go for also.
We stayed here for 2 weeks as it was a membership park for Thousand Trail. Its a heck of a narrow road and only one way in part of it, with a stop lite, and 3 mirrors to watch while driving in. Once down the hill you see the beautiful Ranch with lots of horses. Overall it was nicely maintained with lots to do. Would stay again.
Since this is a TT pk we paid nothing. The sites are under date palm trees and are close. Park needs to be updated as do so many of these Thousand Trails pks. Pool was nice but crowded and small. Breakfast area nice for eating. We stayed here a week as it is a highly used TT pk.
We stayed here for one week while visiting Yosemite National Park. The sites are between trees not always easy in and out. Pool was not heated or working all the time. Clubhouse was closed some of the time. Hottub was not working the whole week we were there. Since it was the only place big rig friendly close to Yosmite that is the only reason we stayed here. This park needs lots of work done. Lots of the sites were not usable neither were one of the bathroom areas.
This place is within walking distance to the ocean and a popular spot. We only stayed a couple of nites with one freebee. Sites are close. Park is well maintained and you can walk into the town to eat and vist the tourist shops. We would stay again if only for a few nites.
We only stayed one nite here while on the road. It was clean and lots of room to walk dogs. Some shaded sites with easy acesss in and out. We used the pool with the temps being 114 the day we were there. Would stay here again if only for a few nites.
We just stayed overnight here and would not want to stay any longer. It is next door to a truck repair and overnight stay area for truckers. Also lots of train noise. Restaurant was very pricey for what we ordered. Sewer sites are dangerous for the sites as they are left with a steel rod coming out of it (they must of been old ones) which they didn't take out of ground for newer ones. We had to place a chair over it as not to fall over it coming out of our door. Lots of rubish all over the place, even one RV with no tires on it.
We stayed here just overnight, but the park is just wonderful and would highly recommend it. It has a beautiful dog walk in shade, the whole place is well groomed and clean. Easy access in and out with a nice clubhouse. We truly loved this place and would return. Pool sparkled and laundry did as well!!
This park is a membership park of which we are a part of and was very clean and well kept up. Also nice park models well landscaped. We stayed here in a fifth wheel for 3 days. They have a restaurant across the road and it has good food and you can sit right on the outdoor patio or inside and watch boats going up and down river. Would recommend. The Delta area is beautiful.
We loved this park and will return in time. It was shady with lots of grass and the marina was just a walk acrossed the road. The managers were very nice and we got to pick out our own site. Excellent weather for July. Stayed here alittle over a wk in a fifth wheel.
Would not come back here again. Camped in a fifth wheel for 2 weeks free for Thousand Trails members. Pot holes, manager trouble even though a new one is here. Electric blew out neighbors TV. Old campground needs to be update for Thousand Trails. One pool was down heater burned out. WiFi at adult lodge across a very busy highway. Cell service spotty.
This is a buy your lot campground with renting available. We stayed here for 3 months in a fifth wheel. Left because we were told the lot we were on wouldn't sell because it had an RV on it. They were more interested in selling. Beautiful campground but buyer beware.
