An outstanding RV park/resort with some ocean view sites, immaculate grounds, small pitch & putt course, separate indoor and outdoor pools and spas. Laundry facilities, general store. Rec hall. Trails to the beach. Lots of activities. Quiet at night. Truly an excellent park. Class A or C Motorhomes 25' or longer only.
An older park with adequate pull-throughs. The maintenance man had just given notice and wasn't keeping the place up (no paper in bathrooms, trash bins filled up, etc.) but this could be temporary. Permanent residents make up a portion of the park to the north, and to the west is a questionable manufactured housing area/neighborhood. OK for overnight, but we were ready to go in the morning.
Not a bad park (has lots of pull throughs), but not a destination, either. Good for a night to squeeze in among the many permanent residents for an overnight sleep and be on your way in the morning. Good cable TV, 30 and 50 amp. service, water and sewer. Just far enough from I-10 not to be noisy, but close enough to jump back on quick. We'd stay here again for an overnighter.
This is a great park for anyone - families, small groups, fishing buddies, and so on. Sites are numerous, divided from the rest by shrubs and brush in most cases. Miles of bike paths, lots of Ranger activities for the kids as well adults. Easy walk or bike ride to the beach. Historical site of Ft. Stevens is nearby. Great fun and lots to do.
