Park was very neat and clean with well maintained paved interior roads. Office personnel were very helpful and friendly. There are several long termers living there but the trailers are neat and the sites are clean and not junky. The only negative I found was its proximity to highway 231 and its related highway noise. We would stay here again.
Park check in was easy and the worker was very nice. Park is mostly permanent residents with several run down trailers and park models. Many had multiple cars and trucks parked around them. Last evening there were several obviously intoxicated persons wandering up and down the interior roads. There is a large flock of chickens running loose and a couple of dogs running around off leashes. The park rules on the hand out, apparently mean nothing. We will not stay here again.
This park was very nice, the long wide pull through sites were level and clean. The hosts were very nice and we loved the parrot. The only reason that I did not give them a 10 was there was no breaker switch on the pedastel which made me nervous plugging in. We overnighted on our way north and would definitely stay there again.
This is a really good stop over park as it is very near the Interstate 95 and SR 207 interchange. It has a large pond between it and the St Johns Flea Market which makes for interesting shopping if you get tired of the historical tourism of St Augustine which is 4 miles away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of permanent residents and they were all very friendly also. We will camp here again when we are in town.
This is a very nice park, the roads are all paved as are the sites. We found the other residents to be very friendly and welcoming. We rode our bikes around the area and got waves and smiles from everyone we met. This is a secure gated park and we felt very safe there. The rules are strictly enforced but this was not a problem as the rules are very reasonable. There is a shopping center adjacent to the park which has a small store and two restaurants in it. We will definitely stay here again.
Campground was very clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a fairly level back in site. The hook-ups were at the back of the site and were shared with another site directly behind ours. I had a little trouble reaching the hook-ups. The interior roads are paved as is the large parking lot at the office. We stayed for three days and did some lake fishing in the very pretty lake on which the park is situated. Be forewarned to take some cash with you for any item that you may want to purchase in the camp store. They only accept credit cards for the site rental! You must pay in cash for anything else. We observed that some of the sites closer to the lake were very un-level with one coach sitting with their front tires almost a foot off the ground! That observation and the positioning of the hook-ups were our only complaint and are the reason for the 8 instead of a 10. We would definitely stay here again as long as we got one of the sites on top of the hill where they are fairly level.
There did not appear to be an office as the check in was completed in the driveway. After check-in, we were led to our site down a single lane gravel road. We passed the dump station on the way in and it appeared to be just a pipe sticking up out of the ground. It also appeared to be higher than the road. The park is heavily wooded and care must be taken of overhanging branches. Most of the sites appeared to contain permanent residents. Our site had standing water as it had rained earlier in the day. The host was very friendly and helpful even finding extra boards to help level the coach. The site was surrounded by junked out trailers and a junked piece of old road equipment. Across the street were several junked out double wide trailers stored there. We spent that night because a storm was coming but we will probably not stay there again.
