Great place to stay. It is really quiet and peaceful. The amenities are super nice. The bath and laundry facilities are really neat and well maintained. The owner and his manager and both available to assist with any need you may have. They try their best to accommodate your requests while maintaining a very tidy park. A great choice for the location just north of lots of venues that the city of Houston has to offer. The park sometimes has some low areas that retain water after a lot of rain, but that would be the only reason I cannot give this place a 10. The "Sonic" ice is great and it is free. Lots of great things and too many to mention. The free Wireless Internet service is the best anywhere we have been to date and it is a fast DSL connection.

We arrived on a Friday, expecting a Lakeside spot. That did not happen, because they were full and the reservation said that our reservation wasn't for a Lakeside spot. Well my fault, I did not look the reservation confirmation over as well as I should have. Regardless, I was told that I would be on the lakeside. Okay, things aren't starting out well, but not a big deal at this point. While getting set-up and hooked-up, I fooled with the cable TV hook-up for a while. I mean till my fingers hurt from trying every different cable I had, thinking that one was bad. They gave me a list of channels that you get with the sign-in paper work. So I am steady trying to hook it up. There is an outlet at the utility station, what am I suppose to think. I got cable and it will not work. Okay, after 1-1/2 to 2 hours of trying, I called the front office. I explained the situation and asked if anyone could come help me troubleshoot the problem. The answer I got blew me away, she said that off the lake sites on the Interstate side of the park have no cable TV. I was hot! I mean, why was that not told that to me to begin with. Why would you have a hook-up there and it not work and it appears that you would mark it "out of service." We won't be back, and that is that. We just purchased a dome for the rig, and we won't miss another important event on TV due to lack of communication. Oh yes: no offer at all to accommodate us and make the situation right. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. Rude!
