Very friendly staff. We had a pull through site right beside the Klamath river. It was grassed and level and despite recent rain was not muddy. Wi-Fi was fine but cable reception was poor. Very quiet spot. The laundry had out of order machines. Restrooms and showers were clean. We would return.
Basic park. Level grassy and shaded sites. Some long term residents. Only a block away from the lake and we had a lake 'glimpse' from our site. Public mineral pool is across the street. Cable TV is an extra $4/day, $16/week. We liked it here as we were right in the village and could walk to stores/restaurants/lake unlike some other parks which are further away.
Rate shown is Enjoy America. Very well laid out park with large sites, river view and small boat launch. Free Wi-Fi and expanded channel cable. Staff very friendly. Sites are level and most have concrete or asphalt pads. Quiet location. Will definitely stay here again.
Friendly owner. Many long term residents with very unsightly rigs. Located very close to the Eel River with beautiful views of the river and bluffs on the opposite side. Washrooms were adequate. Laundromat expensive with wash and dry each costing $2. This site has a lot of potential because of the location but it needs a lot of clean up. As an overnight stay this was OK.
This park has potential. Quite close to 101 so a little noisy. Nice shade trees. Swimming pool closed. Pull through site which was level. Office staff emphasized that there was no cable or wi-fi available. Large number of permanent residents with unkempt rigs. As an overnight this was OK.
Stayed here for three nights. Not too windy this time but on a previous visit it was very windy. Had a pull through site which was not very level but we managed fairly well. Nice views over the dunes. Did not check out the facilities. This is an Encore/ELS park and of course there was the added $3 "activity fee" which I have heard referred to as a utility charge. Why can they not include it in their rate? Not many activities here but a lot to do in the area. Would probably stay here again.
We stayed overnight at this park and considered the rate too high. Wi-Fi and cable were included. Extensive renovations are being done which look very good. Large playground and also fenced dog area. I used the pool and found the water to be a little cool for my comfort and I was doing a workout. There were others using it though. Restrooms were spotless. The showers had a few missing tiles and the water stream in the handicapped shower at the pool was just a very strong jet not very good for a handicapped person.
We stayed here using RPI. The dairy farm smell was overwhelming on several occasions. There are a large number of birds here enjoyed by many of the guests. Herons and red-tailed hawks were nesting on the preserve while we were there. Adult swimming pool is closed in the winter but there are adult only times available in the family pool which was sufficiently heated. Washrooms and showers were adequate. At least three laundromats around the site but the total number of machines seems inadequate for the park when it is busy. Wi-fi was available but reception was not very good. We would stay here again.
Loved this park. I am a birdwatcher and really enjoyed it. The lakes are 'reclaimed' water which is processed 'black' water but there was no aroma from it. The water is also used for watering the landscaping. Would have given a 10 except that the pool is not heated in the winter. Sites are a good size and their reservation system allows you to see a photo of the site when you are booking. There was a picnic table on a cement pad with a roof at most sites. The staff were very friendly - we were there over President's Day weekend and there was a large group in three sites opposite us who were somewhat rowdy. The ranger made regular patrols to check their activities. There were a couple of rainy days, but the gravel site had no problems and the large puddles around the park disappeared quite fast. As soon as a site is vacated a member of staff is there to check that it is free of garbage and then they rake and sweep as necessary. Wi-fi reception was good. We did not have cable. There is a newer section - about half the sites and they have cable for an increased rate. Easy access to the trolley service at Santee Town Centre which takes you downtown. All day ticket costs $5 - a very good deal. Will definitely return here.
Stayed here for a week. Snowbird park with a lot of park models. People very friendly and many have been returning there for many years. This is an Encore/ELS park and there seemed to be add on charges for everything. Laundry use is by card that has to be bought for $2 and then $$ added. There is no refund for unused amount when you leave. Pool is good and there are water aerobics. Pet area is fairly small but there is a dog walk area outside the back gate. This is an agricultural area, and can be extremely muddy after rain, and it did rain while we were here. The fields were not under cultivation and consequently when not muddy were dusty!! Would probably not return here.
Stayed here for 1 night using Coast to Coast, Good Neighbor Park. Manager was friendly enough when we checked in, if you could get past the cigarette smoke and ashtray full of butts. The site was adequate and the residents were friendly. Didn't check out the restrooms and showers but I had doubts as to their quality. The outdoor laundry area was a novelty. Trains do not particularly bother us. Would possibly stay here again just as a stopover.
We stayed here using Coast to Coast. Older park that is showing its age. Showers and rest rooms were clean but tired. Laundromat only has five washers and driers. Swimming pool is small but sufficiently heated. Site is gravel with dead grass which tracks easily into the rig. Some shade trees and some desert views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cable TV and wi-fi available for a fee. Wi-fi strength is good. Part of the Western Horizon group.
We stayed here with the 5 free night package. Very impressed with the park as the sites are large and well spaced. Some sections have more mature landscaping. Loose gravel on the roads is hard to walk on. The swimming pool is new, but much too small for the size of the park. Only two showers, which were well kept, but separated from the restrooms by a walkway. Good, new exercise equipment. The park has its own well and the water is good - a definite plus. The sales presentation was low key. We felt that this is a little too far from services although the desert setting was very great and the sunsets stupendous. Another possible drawback is the presence of state and county prisons in Florence. No cable service, and when we used our digital converter there was no signal. Apparently more services are in the works. The clubhouse has no kitchen but there is a woodworking shop and stained glass shop. Would possibly stay here again.
We stayed here for a month, and the nightly rate reflects a pro rated monthly rate. Very active older community with many planned activities. Mostly park model homes and long time residents, but we were made welcome. The pet area is fairly small and there is no where for the animals to run. The gate to the pet walk area just leads out to a fairly busy road with a sidewalk. Laundry facilities are good but you have to use a card that is purchased for $2 and not refunded. Cable service is no longer available. Phone service is not available for transient sites either. Wi-fi is free and good strength. Swimming pool was very warm and not conducive to a proper workout. Water aerobics classes but they were to a very dated tape.
This is a very well groomed park. Sites are gravel which had been recently raked. There are paved roads. Pull through sites are wide and easy to access. We were guided to our site. The check in staff was friendly. Restrooms and showers were spotless There are long term residents, but their sites appear neat and uncluttered. There is excellent free Wi-Fi and limited cable. We stayed here overnight and would certainly return if we are in the area.
We stayed here using Resort Parks International, hence the rate. The park is very well maintained and appears to have continuous security patrol. Individual bathrooms are spotless as are the laundries. There is a good store on site and very helpful staff. It is well positioned at the south end of the "Strip". There was a record snow fall while we were here but no problems with water supply. We especially like having a phone line at our site at no charge. To avoid the Wi-Fi charge we used dial up which was slower but free!!!
This is an excellent park. I can't comment on their website as it is no longer available. There is a mineral water pool and spa in the lower area which is adult only and another swimming pool with two spas in the upper area. All pools are fed by a hot mineral water well, and the water flow through the pools is constant so very little chemicals need to be used. Wi-Fi is available for $10 a week, $16 for 2 weeks, and our reception is very good. There is not much selection of cable channels. There is a large number of organized activities including water aerobics 5 times a week. I have stayed here before and will definitely return.
Despite the previous review we found the staff at the park to be very friendly and helpful. Pull through sites were easy to access, level with a concrete pad and also shaded. Cable TV was an extra $1. Washrooms are older but very clean. There is a detailed map of the area provided with directions for continuing on your journey. I have stayed here before and would certainly stay again.
There was a very friendly, helpful staff. It is easy access to sites which are level. It is close to the railway tracks, but we did not find this a problem. One of our reasons for being here was to view the Tehachapi Loop on the railway. The laundry was very clean and prices reasonable. Washrooms and showers were very clean. Swimming pool and hot tub were open and heated even though it is November. We have stayed here previously, and it appears that some of the long term residents have moved or cleaned up their sites. There was fast Wi-Fi, instant phone service at site, and good cable service all included in price. Citrus trees as well as palm trees are around the park. We will return.
This was an adequate site for an overnight. Church owned so closed in July for family and youth camp. No manager on site when we arrived but one of residents directed us where to find a space. Spaces not well defined and all grass. Showers and rest rooms 'tired'.
Open field type park with very little shade - not necessary in November but would be good in the summer. Loads of rabbits running around. Indoor swimming pool. Bathrooms and showers immaculate. We had a late check in but information had been left for us and we were able to complete the paperwork before leaving the next morning. Would definitely return.
Very nice, small park. Owner was very friendly and helped us park in our site. Welcome basket with local information and treats was delivered to us later - I have never seen this before. Sites are narrow but would definitely stay here again.
