I was here on a monthly rate for 2 months. This campground recently became a KOA. It appeared to me that most of the residents were Snowbirds wintering over and enjoying the warmer climate. It is very large park with over 800 campsites and a Lagoon in the middle with a large fountain and swimming area and a Tiki bar at the end. On the surface it looks pretty nice to be able to go sun bathing or swimming there and socialize with other campers. They also use this Lagoon as a day use center for the general public and charge them a fee. On the first really warm weekend in March the general public came by the truck loads. The KOA provides a DJ and music right in the lagoon. So now you have a bunch of young, rowdy, drinking people and a DJ playing music at an unbelievable loud level. These people did not care whom they bothered and by later in the day were obnoxiously loud and boisterous. Their vehicles were parked everywhere including campsites. No family would want their children to be associating with this kind of trouble makers. No senior citizen would want to go to the lagoon either. These people just took over and the campground management just counted their dollars. The Sheriffs cars were there to keep the peace. Why would you need continued police presence unless you expect trouble? This all goes on for 6 hours on Saturdays and Sundays all summer long. As a very frequent KOA customer with over 450,000 KOA value points, I was shocked. KOA better take another look at their franchise with Wekiva. KOA campgrounds are supposed to be family oriented, quiet and safe for their camping customers. In my opinion, Wekiva’s owner needs to decide if he wants this place to be a campground or a day care center for the socially misaligned. I will not be back unless some significant changes are made.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Campground elevation is 186 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads are asphalt, sites are sand/grass mixture, and my site had a concrete patio. Site spacing is OK. My site was a back-in, 30/50 amps. WI-FI and cable are included in daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I was not able to receive Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome, but I was with my portable Qube. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 6 miles away and Winn-Dixie grocery is 2 miles away. They have many pull through sites with sand/grass patios. There is one major drawback to this otherwise decent campground. The rear of my motorhome was about 300 feet from Highway US-441. This is a 4 lane highway and the speed limit here is 55 mph. The surface is concrete with what we call up North, expansion slots and the wheels go pop-pop with every vehicle that goes by. This is a very busy highway and the noise is continuous. Even at night when traffic is reduced, it is pop-pop-pop all night long. I am a fairly light sleeper who took sleeping pills every night, and I still would wake up when some 18 wheelers or loud cars and motorcycles went by. In fairness, the noise is somewhat reduced in other sections of the campground but still unacceptable to me.

Rate reflects a 50% discount for Seniors Pass. I stayed here for 1 night. Campground elevation is 118 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads are sand, sites and patios are sand/grass mixture. Site spacing is good. My site was a pull through water and electricity 30/50 amps. There is a dump station on the way out. Several sites do have sewer hookups. WI-FI is included in daily rate and there is no cable. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I was also able to receive Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart and Publix grocery are about 13 miles away. This is my second time to visit here and leave thinking that this is a really nice little campground and that I will return.

I stayed here for 6 nights in a pull through super site. Campground elevation is 115 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads are asphalt, site is concrete strips in gravel and patio is concrete. Site spacing is good. My site was landscaped with shrubbery between sites and had full hookup 30/50 amps. Wi-Fi & cable is included in daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. WalMart and Publix grocery are 12 miles away. Their laundromats are decent with $1.50 per wash and $0.25 per 10 min on dryer. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. There is some I-10 noise but otherwise is very quiet. Overall, this is a nice campground with very long sites and good spacing between sites. The regular sites are grass with many of them having concrete patios. The workers are friendly. I have stayed here before and will again. The $38 rate was due to a "Hot Deal" of pay for 2 nights and get the third night free.

I stayed here for 1 night in a pull through site. Campground elevation is 76 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was a little tight but OK. Roads are asphalt, sites and patios are sand/grass mixture. Site spacing is good. My site had full hookup 30/50 amps. Wi-Fi is included in daily rate and there is no cable. Their Wi-Fi is fairly fast. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I was not able to receive Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome due to the large number of trees. I was able to connect to the 110 satellite with my portable Qube dish but never connected to the 119 satellite. It looks like there may be a couple of sites that would be satellite friendly. I was able to get 19 channels of over-the-air television. Campground is pet friendly. WalMart is 18 miles away and IGA grocery is 8 miles away. This is my second visit here and it has rained hard both times dampening my spirits and overall opinion of the campground. In fairness however, this is a decent campground to spend an evening in. It is quiet and the people are friendly and helpful.

I stayed here for 1 night in a pull through site. Campground elevation is 15 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was somewhat tight. Roads are asphalt, site and patio was grass/sand. Site spacing is close. My site was a full hookup 30/50 amps. Wi-Fi & cable is included in daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart and Grocery are 4 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This campground is mostly snowbirds and most of the sites are back-ins and but up against one another. My site was actually 2 sites because I requested a pull through no unhook site. They accommodated me very well in that regard. The big negative is the trains that run right next to the fence of the campground. Especially bothersome are the trains at 4:20 am and 4:35 am. There is also a switching station right next to the campground compounding the train noise. Other than that, it is a pretty nice campground with the beach straight across the road. I would return.

I stayed here for 1 night in a pull through site. Campground elevation is 39 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads are asphalt, site was concrete and patio was asphalt. Site spacing is fairly close. My site number 1A was 30A with water and sewer. WI-FI is included in daily rate. Cable is not available. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart and Kroger are 7 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. They have the largest and cleanest laundromat I have ever seen at a campground. The major negative is the proximity to Interstate 10. I have stayed here 4 times and always request site 1A even though it is only 30A. Nice place but a little pricey.

I stayed here for 1 night in a pull through site. Campground elevation is 9 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was somewhat tight. Roads are asphalt, my site & patio are concrete. Site spacing is close. WIFI is included in daily rate. Cable is not available. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart and Kroger are 3 mile away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. Most of their guests are monthly’s. There are only a hand full of pull throughs and most of them have monthly’s on them. Only 1 Long Enough for Motorhome & Car w/o Unhook. It appears that roughly 90% of the residents here are construction workers in fifth wheels and travel trailers. This is quite different from most KOA’s. It looks like spaces for one and two nights was an afterthought and they squeezed them in. While the sites are concrete they are very close together. There is some standing water 2-3 days after a rain. It is a little noisy from 6 to 7 in the morning and in the late afternoon with all the diesel pickup trucks going and coming. At $43 per night they are way overpriced and will not see me again.

My patio was brick with edging. Pull through sites are large enough to hold a tow and dinghy. My site was level and spacing is good. My site offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 5 miles away and a grocery is 3 mile away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. Nice, well kept campground. A little noisy at times. This was my fourth visit here.

I stayed here for 1 day. Campground elevation is 568 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads, sites and patio are gravel. Pull through sites hold a 40 foot motorhome with room on site for tow. My site 33 was a pull through site offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. Wi-Fi costs $3 per day and cable is not available. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet and AT&T Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 21 miles away and Basha’s is 4 miles away. The laundry is decent. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is my fourth time staying here over the last 4 years. I was booked to stay here 7 days but a mistake was made concerning the site I had confirmation for. I will probably will not return because of this, but this is a nice KOA and reasonable priced except for the Wi-Fi.

I stayed here for 1 day. Campground elevation is 264 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads are asphalt, sites and patio are grass/sand. Pull through sites hold a 40 foot motorhome towing. My site H03 was a pull through site offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. Wi-Fi (2 hours) and cable are available at no additional charge. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet and AT&T Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Kmart is 5 miles away and Albertsons is 4 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is a decent KOA with a lot of monthlies. It is well maintained and clean. Not many people passing through this time of the year. It sits right on the Colorado River which divides Arizona and California. Major negative is the proximity to I-10 and the California Check Point where traffic backs up. The noise is abundant and continuous. I also think that $40 per night is a little steep, all things considered.

Wal-Mart is 7 miles away and Safeway is 4 miles away. Since this is metro Phoenix, shopping is abundant. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is a nice KOA with wide roads and sites. It is well maintained, clean and has good drainage when it rains. Not many people here this time of the year. After the first of the year it will fill up for the next few months. This is my fourth time here and would return.

I stayed here for 1 day. Campground elevation is 1,585 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads, sites and patio are gravel. Pull through sites hold a 40 foot motorhome towing. My site 54 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WI-FI is available at N/C but only near the office. It was too weak to be usable at my site. Cable was not available. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet and AT&T Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 19 miles away and a grocery is 5 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is a nice KOA with wide roads and sites. It is well maintained and clean. Takeaways are the traffic noise from I-10 and the horses right next door. I guess they hold rodeos there sometimes and there were many horse trailers and horses there during my stay. At times the smell was “heavy”. It is a shame that a campground cannot pick its neighbors because this is a really nice KOA.

I stayed here for 3 days. Campground elevation is 3,561 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was slightly tight but no problem. Roads, sites and patio are gravel. Pull through sites barely hold a 40 foot coach towing. My site 46 offered 30/50 amp service and full hookups. Wi-Fi and cable TV were included in the daily rate. I was not able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet but AT&T Cellular service was fine. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of coach. Campground is pet friendly. Wal-Mart and Safeway are 2 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is a nice KOA for a few night's stay. It is far enough away from I-10 not to hear the traffic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They have the lowest price for propane anywhere in the area. My only negative is the people camped next to me had a motorcycle with loud mufflers that they started up several times a day. This was my fourth visit here and I would return.

I stayed here for 3 days. Campground elevation is 4,060 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads, sites and patio is gravel. Pull through sites hold a 40 foot motorhome towing. My site, #58, offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WIFI and cable were included in the daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless 3G Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. The campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 6 miles away and a grocery is 5 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This KOA has tiered narrow sites. My patio could not have been over 6 foot wide. If I extended my awning half of it would be over the next site. This visit is my fourth in the same number of years. This is an ok campground with great views of Las Cruces. I will probably return here again because of it,s location.

I stayed here for 3 days. Campground elevation is 1,241feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was no problem. Roads are asphalt and sites/Patios are concrete. Site spacing is good. Pull in Lake Mead View sites easily hold a 40 foot motorhome/fifth wheel. There is plenty of room to park your dinghy beside your RV. My site 9 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. Wi-Fi and cable was included in the daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3/4 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 20 miles away and Safeway is 6. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This campground has many different kinds of sites with varying amenities and prices. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless, G2 Internet ,& Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart is 34 miles away and Safeway was 1. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. My site and friends next to mine have too much slope front to rear. He was unable to completely level his motorhome. I was able to level mine but could not get the steps out due to hitting the pad. I could have leveled it enough to get the steps out but would have had to lift the rear wheels off the ground to do so. Both of us are in Class A diesels. Another negative is there is not one blade of grass in the park for our little furry friends. Other than these two things, it is a great park with a lot to do in the area. Campground was quiet and open. I would stay here again.

Wal-Mart and major grocery are 2 miles away. Laundry was OK but expensive. Two dollars for a wash is high. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. There is some I-40 road noise. Sewer hookup is at the rear of the site and unless you have 30' of sewer hose, you must unhook your tow and park it in front of your motorhome. A dog in the permanent home next to the laundry barked a lot and woke me up during my afternoon naps. Overall, it is a pretty decent campground for a KOA owned facility. I would stay here again.

I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Wal-Mart is 10 miles and a grocery was 2 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. My site was a little bit muddy due to recent rains. Campground is small and quiet with minimal road noise. I would stay here again.

I stayed here for 2 days. Campground elevation is 672 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy in the park was a little tight. Roads are patched asphalt, sites are gravel & patios are grass. Site spacing is good. Pull through sites easily hold a 40 foot motorhome and tow. My site 355 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WI-FI and cable were included in daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Walmart and a grocery was 3 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This campground is owned by KOA Corporate. It has a somewhat rundown look about it. The roads are rough. Sites are way off level front to rear. There is a concrete patio, but it is at the rear of the site. OK for a fifth wheeler but not a class A motorhome. There are very noisy gas drilling machines next door that run all day long. It is in a flood plain with water height boards around the park. The entrance to the park is tight and the sign is hard to see until you are right on it. It is on a major suburban road with heavy traffic most of the time. Overall, I am disappointed and will not return.

I stayed here for 14 days. Campground elevation is 696 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads, Sites & Patios are concrete. Site spacing is good. Pull through sites are 85 feet long and easily hold a 40 foot motorhome and tow. My site 71 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WI-FI was included in daily rate. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is quiet and pet friendly. Staff was friendly. Wal-Mart and a Grocery were 3 miles away. The Laundry is large and very clean. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This is a beautiful RV park. Large wide open sites, very wide roads and nice landscaping. Slight negatives would be the train, truck noise, and consistent wind. The patio is concrete with a table and bench seats but is very small. Major shopping is about 20 miles away. There is not much to do here but I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for 1 night. Campground elevation is 659 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was no problem. Roads and sites are gravel/dust & Patios are grass. Site spacing is poor. My site D47/52 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. Wi-Fi and Cable were not available. To make a pull through site they use 2 back in sites that back up to each other. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3 Internet & Cellular service. I received Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from dish on roof of motorhome. Campground is pet friendly. Staff was friendly. Wal-Mart and a grocery were 6 miles away. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. This large open campground is in poor condition. The dust on the roads is about as bad as I have ever seen. There are those little burrs that stick to pets in the grassy areas. The dumpsters are overflowing. My site had excessive slope front to rear. I definitely would not stay here again, even if free.

I stayed here for 1 day. Campground elevation is 1,489 feet. Maneuvering my 40 footer towing a dinghy was challenging. Roads, sites & Patios are gravel. Site spacing is fair. My site 63 offered 30/50 amp service & full hookups. WIFI and Cable were not available at the site. I was able to receive AT&T Wireless G3 Internet & Cellular service. I was unable to connect to satellite TV from my roof dish due to trees but did receive Dish Network 110/119 Satellite TV from my portable Qube. Campground is pet friendly. Staff was friendly. Walmart was 17 miles away and a Grocery was 7 miles. I am unable to comment on other amenities due to not using them. I want to comment about the site I was on. It was very narrow and if I had a 4 slide motorhome instead of 2, I don't know if it would have fit between the fence and a tree. Also it is considerably sloped at both ends and slanted to the left in the middle. Leveling was challenging. The electrical and sewer dump was on the left side and the water on the right side. This is far from what I consider to be an acceptable pull-though full hookup site. I would not stay here again.

Small quiet KOA off of I-44. Roads & sites are gravel. They have 16 pull through sites all lined up in a row. Each site is full hookup 50/30 amp. Maneuvering is OK with 40 footer and a tow. Sites are over 65 feet long & slightly sloped from front to rear. Received AT&T cell and high seed 3G data service. All these sites are satellite friendly for roof mounted dishes. I would return to this KOA.

This KOA is old & very heavily wooded with tight maneuvering with my 40 footer towing a car. Roads are a mix of asphalt & stone. Sites are stone & grass. This KOA has back-in grassy sites only. I was in site 75 for 2 nights and connected to Dish Network, AT&T Cell and AT&T Broadband with no problems. 50 Amp service was good. Wi-Fi and Cable was not available at my site. Lots of empty sites and quiet but very windy. Town is very small with little to do. No grocery stores other than Quick Mart type. Nice Marina with bar. Easy to maneuver around.
