Nice campground just outside Yerington up in Weed Heights. OHV use right out of the campground. Clean. All gravel, pull-through sites with trees. The sites are on the narrow side making it tight for our opposable slides, we had to pull in at an angle, but it worked great. Small 9-hole golf course and 18-hole miniature golf course right next door.

As other comments state, it's getting more and more run down since KOA left. This was our first time staying there and will only stop again if I need a place with hookups at last minute. Pet owners need to pick up after their pets. Sites are not appealing. The billboards around Reno about an elegant RV park are very misleading. Hopefully the new owners will put some money into the RV park soon. The rates were way too high.

Closest campground to the dunes if you don't want to take your RV on the beach. Can't ride the OHV's to the dunes but it's darn close. Having beach access 1/2 block away is best. Quiet alternative to camping on the beach/dunes.

Rating this campground a 1 got your attention. We made prior reservations and were charged the "fair" rate. I was unaware that this was more than the normal rate and didn't question it and am too busy in my daily life to call and request a refund. What I did complain about was the noise: our site (and all site numbers above 81) are right next to and inclined HWY 46 where trucks run all night long. We used this campground as a stop to get some sleep before moving on the next morning but didn't get a wink due to the noise. We will NOT stay here again due to the noise and the outrageous rates. I would rate the rest of the park (sites 75 and lower) a 9.

Nice campground right on the beach. Some sites are ok for larger (36') motorhome but the overhang is over vegitation. Campground is right on the beach. We hear that the surf is safer here than other nearby beaches. Can be windy. No hookups and reservations highly recommended. Dump station on site.

Nice park, brand new so trees aren't fully grown providing no shade, has a nice clubhouse and is walking distance to casino. The premium sites on the ends have nice patio furniture and some have built in bbqs.

We stayed there for 4th of July so it may just have been really busy but it was pretty noisy with kids and dogs. We will return though.

Nice park, former Thousand Trails campground. Could use some updating and cleaning but overall a pleasant experience. ATV and 4-wheel drive access from the park though it isn't a nuisance.
