Nice quiet park. The March 2014 review was right on the mark, convenient and quiet. The park RV sites were fairly empty of campers so we had lots of room. Level sites. WiFi was free to us and OK. bath/rest rooms were older but spotless. We stayed 2 weeks and would return again.
Interior road gravel with a couple potholes near office. Sites gravel/grass/dirt and fairly level with good spacing and a good number of seasonal occupied sites. Verizon coverage VG. The camp store has ice, supplies, and some parts. Playground, pool, Frisbee golf course and more, with a view of part of Lake Cayuga from sites on hill (#17 & 18 are nice). Owner is pleasant and helpful. Great base for exploring Lakes Cayuga and Seneca with walks, wineries, and waterfalls all around you. They even have a cheese trail now. We love the Finger Lakes and this was a nice CG. We recommend it.
Narrow interior roads paved/gravel with some tight turns. I had to back up cause we couldn't go around one block. Sites grass/dirt. Level with fair spacing, shaded, and VG Verizon coverage. Needed extensions for electric and sewer. Park is quiet and owners very helpful. Primarily seasonal with a few campsites near the front. Not bad as a home base for the beaches of Bethany (about 10 min) and Dewey. Site 272 is fairly good. There is a marina and a very small bay side beach.
Rate reflects a travelers special. Park is in excellent condition with paved and gravel roads and gravel site pads (ours 5" out of level). There are mostly shaded with very good spacing. Campground is gated and very quiet with trash and recycle pickup every morning. There is a lake for swimming with slide, inflatable "jungle gym", volleyball and playground equipment, and a separate fishing pond. Wi-Fi coverage was good and VZW was fair. Camp store had a little of everything including groceries, firewood & ice and a few RV repair parts. There is a pavilion with tables for get togethers.
Interior roads and pads are gravel (ours 2" out of level). Sites were shaded with very tight spacing and no room for awning or table. There was traffic noise. The owners were very friendly and helpful on phone. We arrived around 8pm (office closed at 6pm) so our info was on the office door and we dropped cash/check in night box. This is a very weird setup - confusing at best. Site map seems to show 2 site numbers for each site, as though 2 campers could get in a single site (there was barely enough room for our 31'). Our site's water pipe was broken so we had to use the adjoining site's water. Electric was on the wrong side so we had to pull in opposite leaving the sewer connection near our front door. Location is 4 miles north of Louisville but this CG is only good for an overnight stop. We will not be back.
It's all about location. Just across the river from Memphis. This is a great base. Roads are gravel & pavement with gravel site pads (4" out of level at ours) and some concrete pads. Spacing is fair and a few are shaded. But most are out in the open, especially the riverfront sites. Campground was quiet. The office sold ice and they provided a laundry that was free to use. It's spotless with apparently new machines. VZW coverage was excellent as was the Wi-Fi.
This is a nice peaceful park, a great getaway. We visited Conway but it does not really seem to be close to any big attractions. Maybe that's the attraction). Paved interior roads and site pads with concrete patio pad and gravel in between (ours 5" out of level). Sites have very good spacing and partial shade. This park is in perfect shape and well cared for. An excellent picnic table, lake beach for swimming (too small for boating), and fair VZW coverage.
Excellent park! Quiet and lovely and very close to the main attraction. Interior roads and site pads are paved with very good spacing and all are partial to fully shaded. Verizon coverage was good. Patrolled regularly be Park Police and camp host was terrific. We arrived around 5 pm, just after a violent micro-burst thunderstorm. Power was out and a couple trees were down in the campground. Host was very helpful in getting us a clear site. One downed tree was removed before dusk, the power was back within 3 hours.and the other downed tree was completely gone the following day. Great work!
This is an excellent park in a great location for a terrific price. Interior roads and site pads are paved (ours 2" out of level) with excellent spacing and most all shaded. Some lakefront sites are a little more money. We were in site 215 but I think 216 would be the best. Great breeze coming off the lake and nice views. Park police patrol regularly and it is very quiet. There is playground equipment in the campground and a beach with swimming in the adjoining section of the park.
Campground is gated with paved and gravel roads and gravel sites that are fairly level (1" off for us). Spacing is good and about all are shaded. Verizon coverage VG with a Camping World right there and a Bilo grocery across street. Noise level was good and they picked up garbage every morning. Camp Hostess was nice and knowledgeable. She knew what to do when we had to take shelter for a tornado warning and notified every camper personally. Easy 10-15 minute drive to downtown Chattanooga.
Paved interior roads and pads in very good condition. Spacing is somewhat slim with probably 15' between pads, many of which are angled for easy parking. Fairly level (out by 2"). The park is very clean and well run, with some nice sunset views of the mountains and nice picnic tables. Some constant low level noise from nearby interstate, but not too bad. Not a lot for kids, with a minimal "game room", but they do have a pool and you can hardly beat the proximity to town (only like 7 min away!). Owners very friendly and accommodating. Good Sam discount. We will definitely stay here next trip to Asheville.
Good Sam discount reflected. Roads are wide enough with plenty of height clearance, paved & crushed gravel. Sites are crushed gravel with some concrete pads. Park looks nice with good spacing, some shady sites and very nice picnic tables (even a little grassy area, too). BIG shared fire ring across from us. Old dirt road around a pond and down to the river for wooded walks and could probably launch kayak, too . Owners/staff are very friendly, pick up trash in the morning and "patrol" several times a day. Park is quiet. Wi-Fi was upgraded (or repaired) while we were here. Good Verizon coverage. Only 15 min to downtown Greenville (like 6 traffic lights). Will definitely stay here again.
Fairly quiet and very close to downtown Augusta. Some sites have concrete patios and all have good spacing (20-25'). Although management is only onsite a few hours each weekday, they were available by phone and provided a nice PDF map for our late arrival. They were also flexible on us arriving early and leaving early. Although we did not need them, would rate a 9 or 10 if it had better office hours, and more amenities. Wi-Fi and cell signals were very good. 37 cable channels.
Location=10! This is THE place to be. The spaces are gravel, adequate and level but not roomy, and there isn't anything between them. Only a few with shade & many seasonal sites. They have 4 Wi-Fi points, but signal where we were was never more than about 60%, BUT...the good out-weighs the average. You are directly across the street from a park and public beach with swimming at the southern tip of Seneca Lake (2 min walk). There is a marina right there! 5 min walk to the Wal-Mart and 10 min walk to the Seneca Harbor and downtown! 15 min walk to the wonderful State Park! So close to so many wineries! Yum! For location, this place is a 10. The service is friendly and good and check-in is quick. Bathrooms were spotless and trash picked up daily. We loved it and will be back.
This was our first trip out and we picked it to de-winterize our Fiver. I agree that the entrance is not well marked (we missed it, had to turn around in a parking lot to go back) and the entrance road is in need of repair. Staff was friendly and pleasant. We were in pull-through site #209 which was a little uneven. Sites were clean and the spacing was the minimum, but we think when the CG is full, it would have felt very crowded. Most sites had no shade. Has loads of activities for families and kids, with good amenities for campers. The cabins look nice and well kept, with some in shade.
Interior roads all paved. Crushed gravel pads for RVs and pea gravel for tents with outdoor hooks to hang your trash away from the critters. Sites were level with very good spacing between them and some site pads longer than others. Sites 24-46 have EW. Extremely clean and well patrolled. Staff was pleasant and helpful and other campers were courteous. The beach and swimming areas were well kept and very popular. There was a trailhead almost right outside our door and we went hiking nearly everyday. Cellphone coverage was good. "Camping Cabins" are available.
