I chose this park because it had WiFi, and was close to my friend's house. It is one of the nicer RV parks I've been in. When I checked in, the guy at the counter offered me a cheaper, 30 amp location, since I didn't need 50 amp. Then he gave me a pull through at no extra charge. He drove a golf cart to lead me to my site, which was a nice touch. The bathrooms were amazing. New, and very clean, even had XM Radio piped in, which gave a "hotel" feel to it. The location IS right next to I-430. You could throw a stone and hit the expressway, but with the A/C on inside my rig I didn't mind the road noise. My biggest complaint was the WiFi. the signal was strong, but it was ridiculously slow. At best it was 56 kbps, and at worst it was 26 kbps. That's slower than dial-up. It may be because there were dozens of rigs at the park, but I expected better. For that reason, and because the price was a bit steep, I'll probably not return, even though everything else was good.

This is my third time to stay here. I like this RV park because it is very clean and quiet. No views or lakes nearby, but great for overnight stopping. The rate is reasonable, and the WiFi is excellent. Electricity is 120 volts, and even with microwave and A/C on does not get below 113 volts. My only complaint is that the restroom is kind of shabby, and has only one shower, which I did not use. I will return here again gladly.

I stayed here twice, once on the way down to Texas, and once on the way back. I learned about the campground from a billboard I saw on I-57. Heading south you can get off at Exit 4, turning right on the small road, then left onto Highway 62. The sites are gravel but level, and the whole facility has a very nice "park-like" feel to it. I chose this one mainly because of the free wireless. I do not have a Passport America membership, but only paid $23 both times. Might be because I have a camper van, rather than a full size RV. As one other reviewer noted, the manager smokes like a chimney, but other than that the experience was very pleasant, and I'll stop there again.

I chose this campground from a sign on I-30, mainly because I was tired of driving! I got there at about 8 pm. The office was closed, but there was a note saying to "fill out" the envelope and drop it in the mail slot. The envelope had nothing to fill out. Apparently you are supposed to put the money in for the night and leave it. It was odd that there were no forms to fill out. I called both phone numbers listed at the office, but got only voice mail. The sites are mostly dirt/gravel, and did not seem very level. I chose a paved site, which was $2 more, but nice and level. The bathrooms/showers are "rustic," but the water was hot and clean with no odor. The next morning I called and got the manager, who came out after about 15 minutes and took my check. He was very friendly, like most people in the South! I would probably stay here again, but I really wish they would get Wi-Fi, as I missed that.
