Rate reflects a monthly rate; daily rate is $39. Park is part of a small farm (eggs and some veggies) and is probably one of the more unique and delightful parks we have stayed at. All sites are pull-thru, spacious, and level. Services (power a constant 121-123 volts) were great and Wi-Fi was very strong. Lots of biking and hiking opportunities. Many golf courses to choose from. Very quiet park. We fed produce peelings to hens and they sell the pastured eggs at a great price. If it were not for winter conditions arriving, we would have stayed longer. Rating this park less than a 10 would be an injustice. Definitely will return again.
Rate reflects KOA Value Card discount with tax. Stayed one night on our travel east to west. Gravel roadways (with non-severe concrete speed bumps) need a lot of gravel to fill in mud holes; sites are gravel and ours was level. All services were good, but Wi-Fi is only available at the store, or in an open air gazebo which in October is not acceptable. We fortunately used our Bell stick which worked great. While it is after peak season campground seems rundown and needs some TLC. Cutting of tree limbs would be a bonus. Not what I would class as a typical KOA.
Rate reflects 10% cash discount. This City campground is privately operated and they are making a lot of improvements including new playground. Our pull through site was long and wide and did not need much to bring level side to side. None of the sites are sewer serviced but they do have a honey wagon as well as an unique sewer dump station. Services were good although electrical voltage was on low but not danger level. Used Bell stick for internet and air channels were okay. Would have no problem staying here again.
Rate reflects tax and value card discount. Our deluxe pull thru site was level and services, including Wi-Fi and cable were great. Friendly check-in. Quiet location. Stayed here before and will return when next in area.
Rate reflects tax and value card discount. Another good value campground where our site was perfectly level. Services were good including Wi-Fi. Owners were very eager to please. Stayed here before and will be back when next in area.
Rate reflects tax and value card discount. Separate sections for long term and short term. We were in the latter between the two small lakes on a long level site. Services were good including Wi-Fi and cable. Road noise was not an issue, but airplanes overhead could be distracting to some. Interior roads were a little dusty, but not overpowering. Will stay again if in area.
Rate reflects tax and value card discount. This is one of the best overall value KOA campgrounds we have experienced. The owners are very friendly and it is obvious they are taking care of the well looked after campground. Site was level and services were good. Most sites have 2 sewer connection points, but ours was one of the few that was not and thus we had an extra long run, but that was the only negative. Wi-Fi works great as does cable. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again when in area.
Rate reflects tax and value card discount. Was assigned to a site that when we attempted to enter the pull thru we encountered a very muddy site which when going back to the office they put us in a dry one. Considering that this was a long weekend we were surprised that there were so many empty sites and thus could not understand why they put us in a messy site at the outset. Only here one night, but observed that the campground suffers greatly from general neglect, but has potential with some tender loving care to be a great campground. Cutting limbs in general would be of extreme benefit. We could not open our awning all the way and many other sites seem to have a similar problem. Need gravel on most all the pull thru sites. Services were okay. Only back-ins have full service while all pull thru sites have only water and power. Wi-Fi was weak, but relied on our Bell stick which worked well. Road noise was not a real concern from our site. Might stay here again if there is nothing else available.
Rate includes tax and value card discount. Have stayed here several times and owners continue to upgrade sites and other aspects; however, they have an electrical problem which we have detected at several sites on the times we have stayed here. Need to check the service before hooking up as our electrical service when checked had no ground. We were allowed to use the adjacent site's power which was okay. Some sites have shared water and electrical connections which can be a problem for some without long electrical cables. Voltage was on the low side but not to the point where our surge protection cut us off. Sites are usually level. Seems to be a commitment to upgrade all aspects of the park and the electrical will likely be dealt with in time. We have stayed here several times due to its proximity to Montreal and the easy highway access. Will likely stay here again.
Rate includes tax and value card discount. Site was level and services were all okay, but sewer connection was at an extended length for our unit, but was workable. Well maintained park with friendly bilingual staff who automatically speak english to you when they hear you talking to your spouse. Was a busy long weekend so we did not try the Wi-Fi instead using our Bell stick which worked great. Have stayed here several times and will return when next in area.
Rate includes tax and value card discount. Nice long and wide site that was reasonably level. Strong Wi-Fi and received several digital channels over air. Site services were acceptable with only negative being damaged sewer cap. Attention to lawn mowing would make campground look better. Some road noise, but not out of the ordinary. If instead of your own facilities you rely on the washrooms and showers a little walk, but not out of the way. Discount on fuel for campers. No reason not to stay here again.
New pull-through sites are long and spacious as well as level. All services worked well. Quiet setting away from traffic offers a good, peaceful rest. Rate reflects KOA discount including tax for a 50 amp site. Will stay again when next in area.
Rate reflects Good Sam rate including tax for a 50 amp back in site. Road ways are paved, but back in sites are gravel, although pull through sites are paved. This is a year round park with many winter occupants. Our length was a little too long for the site so we had to cut up the wet sod getting in. Water connections are in concrete tile (with covered opening) set into the ground which keeps the line from freezing, but our well was substantially filled with water and our connection had to be fished out of the dirty water. Chlorine bleach sanitized the connection and we tied up the hose so that it could not sink back into the water. Voltage on electrical service showed low voltage on Line 2 of the 50 amp service at night when long term residents returned until they retired for the night and again in the morning, but okay in between. Line 1 was in the 118 range most all the time. By appearance some of the pull-through sites seem to have limbs in need of cutting back. Will likely stay here again when next in area.
Stayed here a total of 6 nights while dealing with various RV companies. Rate reflects KOA discount, and this rate is $2 higher on weekends for 50amp site. All services worked well and voltage was good on all lines. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Camp brochure very informative of not only things to do and see in area but also of area history. Many pull-through sites, and only negative about this park is the back to front upward slope of the sites that takes extra effort in leveling trailer. Since we were in and out of the park with unit several times we had to deal with the slopping several times. Nonetheless we will definitely stay here again when next in area.
Rate reflects KOA discount for the site that had a nice patio with furniture and fire chimney. There were a lot of overnight only guests this time of year, but there are a number of attractions to warrant a longer stay. While entrance and around office are paved, internal roads are gravel as are the sites. Some sites had visible garbage about, and this brought rating down. All services worked well, and voltage was steady good rate, but would prefer a water connection a little higher above the ground. Would stay again when next in area.
Now a KOA Campground. Rate is after discount. Most people tend to use this as an overnight stop, but the quiet setting would offer a restful extended stay. The owners are very enthusiastic and customer oriented. When escorted to site, they brush off the already apparently clean picnic table and under the electrical service's cover. All services worked well with good steady voltage. Roadway is hard surface as is the site. Underground storm shelter is at this campground. Will definitely stay again in this well maintained facility.
Stopped at this park to visit friends who winter here. Site was level total grass area with good power, water and sewer service. Must pay for Wi-Fi through separate vender, but understood it was not a good signal so did not attempt. Cable is available providing you want to take the time to install all the hardware that is available from office for a $100 security deposit. Considering the short time we would be there we decided to avoid the install. Only one channel available over the air and is is in Spanish. Staff were relatively friendly. Amenities are in great condition and lots to do. Park is clean and neat. A good wintering location near the Villages, but not necessarily great for the short term stay. If Wi-Fi and cable were more friendly, then this would rate a 10. Will consider a longer term stay in the future.
Site was a level asphalt pull through next to the lake where we could watch the fish jump and ducks paddle. Staff were friendly and the outside workers kept busy on general grounds maintenance. Evidence of someone trying to improve grounds appearance with new plantings. Services worked well with good voltage readings and Wi-Fi was strong from our site each of the 4 nights of our stay. The washrooms/washrooms as well as the laundry facilities located in the center of the campground are not in good condition especially the latter; however, the ones located next to the office appear in good condition. This campground is a great location from which to visit St. Augustine as Old Towne Trolley tickets can be purchased at the office and their shuttle makes stops at the CG on the hour during the day and drop you at a trolley stop downtown and return you to the CG. Pass is good for 3-days and offers a great way to explore the City. A great bargain by any standard. Not sure about some of the highly negative ratings by others as we did not see where warranted. We definitely will stay here again.
Stayed here about a week and is our third visit. All services worked well except for Wi-Fi which was difficult to impossible for most of the time with only a few days in the middle of our stay when we could use the service at all. Mentioned to office who came to unit to investigate. Not sure what they did but improvements were must have been made as service improved for 3 days and then fell off again. Voltage levels were consistent good readings. Clean park and friendly staff. Will likely stay again when in area.
Clean well maintained campground with friendly staff. Pull through by the lake was level. All services worked well with voltage in a good steady range during a busy weekend. Nice walking trail from the campground. Enjoyed our stay and will be back when next in area.
Ours was a level pull through site. Services were very good and voltage in low 120's. Wi-Fi worked well. Very friendly staff in a clean park. Only point would be to correct some of the rough sections in the lower end of the park. We will stay here again.
The park located in a hardwood forest setting. We had a large pull through site for our one night stay. Noted that the power voltage was at the low end of the range. Local seasonal persons stated that when the park is full in the summer the voltage is so low that it damages equipment. Considering that there were very few people on site, I figured they were not exaggerating. When going to the park be sure to follow campground site directions as GPS takes you on a difficult and unnecessary long up hill climb. Will not likely stay here again due to power concerns; although, other aspects of campground were acceptable.
Hunkered down here waiting for Sandy to pass. Site was large pull through and services were good. The only negative was a need to replace the water tap as it was leaking badly. Power voltage was a constant good level. Clean park in quiet setting. Will definitely stay here again when in area.
Schedule only allowed one night stay at this quiet setting beside the Ottawa River with a nice beach and boat launch. Many seasonal units that are well maintained. Owner has several trailers as rental units along with some cottages. Our easy in and out site was a perfect level and all services worked great. Will definitely return again when in area but for a longer stay in this rural jewel. Do not often give this rating but it deserves it.
Road into park is narrow and also acts as only road out. Impossible to meet traffic coming in other direction especially if it is two RV's. Our back-in grass site was not all that level side to side. There are some really nice sites amongst the trees, but roadway to these sites is tight and tree branches would be an issue. Good services. Only one night stay, but if you like fishing, then this is the place to be as it is located next to a lake and has its own boat launch. Doubtful if we would be back in this area to consider another stay.
Our pull-through reservation had to be a back-in due to narrow and tight turns leading to the site. Quiet campground and all services were in good working order. Site was reasonably level. Would stay again when next in area.
Interior roads are acceptable. Site was gravel with forward slope. Services were good including wi-fi and aerial tv. Owner gave permission to cut tree limbs that were hitting roof and slides. Maintenance person was mowing the non-existing grass and blowing sand against unit. Had to ask him to stop. Only stayed one night and doubtful if we would stay again.
Services worked well including Wi-Fi and cable. Level pull-through gravel site. Only negative we encountered would be the need to do some cutting of limbs that made it a little tight getting into our site. Stayed two nights and would definitely stay here again when next in area.
Services were quite acceptable. Had occasional sewer smell that the owner addressed and seem to stay away. Gravel site was fairly level depending on where you parked. Good Wi-Fi and reasonable selection of air TV channels. Pull-through site was spacious. Enjoyed our one night stay but would stay longer. Long term sites were not an issue.
Rate based on 3 week stay at $250 per week with our first week at half price under Passport America. Escort to site aided in backing into site around palm tree. Only negative relates to limited space to park dually between palm tree and raised concrete patio. Well maintained park with more than enough to keep one busy daily and nightly. Wi-Fi worked well. Will stay here again.
This is a great clean park with friendly staff. All services were great including Wi-Fi. Lots to do at this park including a large playground, mini-golf, and an exercise room. For the cycling enthusiast the campground is close to a trail system that will allow for extended cycling. Will stay here again when the opportunity presents itself.
Stayed here 2-nights. Managers are the most accommodating that we ever encountered. We had to move from our original site due to health impact of overhead power transmission lines that ran along most of the sites that were open this time of year. Majority of the park was closed during off-season. All services worked well including Wi-Fi. Will only stay here again if we can be assigned to a site not in close proximity to the high voltage transmission lines.
Stayed here 3-nights in this relatively quiet campground. All services worked well including the Wi-Fi. Laundry equipment did not function well but pricing was reasonable. Site was level and most had artificial turf around picnic table. Need to be careful when leaving site not to hit tires on raised wooden timbers. Will stay here again when next in area.
Daily rate includes KOA discount. Stayed here 2 nights and only drawback was that site 24 was out of level side to side by over 3 inches. Check-in was friendly and courteous. Wi-Fi was good. Swimming pool was not open due to season. Would stay here again when in area.
Rate based on monthly rate of $190 plus elec at 15 cents per kwh. Includes satellite cable tv. This was the 2nd winter for this Park in a rural desert setting. Sites are very side and majority have a concrete patio pad. Power and water were good. No Wi-Fi, but modem service for internet and phone is available from a third party. Roads are packed aggregate and can be a little dusty when people do not respect the speed limit. Large club house with growing list of activities. Large laundry. If you like cycling there is a good network of rural paved roads with low traffic. Great opportunity for ATV's in adjacent desert. Smell from westerly located confined feeding cattle ranch can be a little hard to accept, but smell does not usually last all that long. Wi-Fi would be a bonus for the short term stay. Space designated for installation of a pool and spa. Will stay here again when next in area.
Rate is a modified weekly rate. Roads are double wide and gravel. Easy in and out for pull-through site. Water, power and sewer service were good. Site reasonable level. Wi-Fi bandwidth not strong and best to wait until after 10 p.m. for good operation, otherwise it is painfully slow at best. Aerial TV channels were okay and view of Superstition Mountain was vista from our location. Did not use pool or spa but seemed in good condition. Will stay again when next in area.
Rate reflects weekly rate. Clean, quiet park adjacent to good hiking and cycling trails through the desert. Had premium site which was wide with some bushes separating sites. Reasonably level. Paved streets. Some activities available including twice a week guided hikes. Close to Old Tucson. Will return again when next in area.
Rate reflects monthly fee reverted to 2-weeks fee. Made our reservations by phone with down payment for what was to be a 2-month stay. Balance of first month fee was paid at first of previous month (Nov for Dec). Office was not open on Sunday the day we arrived and was escorted to site by supplemental staff. On Monday we reported to office to learn for the first time that they required a photocopy of each driver’s license as well as copies of ownership papers for the truck and 5th-wheel and the insurance card. As our Provincial issuer of the driver’s license specifically stated that it was unlawful to allow anyone to copy the license we refused. We were told that everyone staying in the resort more than 30 days had to do the same and that all these copies were held in a 3-ring binder in an unlocked cupboard. These were then apparently shredded on leaving. Since our driver’s license also had our signature, vital statistics, and photo we saw this as a great risk for identity theft should someone break into the office and take all this data. When asked why they needed all this we were told it was to help police in the event we got in an accident and both burned beyond recognition, they could then refer to the photocopies and contact relatives (which in fact do not contain relative or contact info). The police should be able to use the license plate number on the 5th-wheel. We offered to show them the info which they could make note of. The Office Manager was very obnoxious and rude when we stated this requirement was not stated when the reservation was made. If it had, we would not have made the reservation. We stayed 2-weeks to eat up our non-refundable monthly fee. We checked at several other resorts, and they do not have these requirements. In almost 3 years of full-timing across USA and Canada we have never encountered this; the only thing we have had to provide on occasion is our license plate number for one or both units. As for the resort, there are good and plentiful amenities. Some sites have permanent park models and others full-time trailers. A few had a lot of tattered furniture outside. While we rate the Resort a 4 it is only because of the friendly residents (8) who raise it from a 1. We would not stay again.
Daily rate after VC discount. Stayed 12 days in this Corporate Park. Friendly staff who were very accommodating while we waited daily for RV repairs. Park is adjacent to the strip and is an easy walk to various attractions. Downside would be the appearance of laundry equipment, the less than level site we had, the strange location for the sewer hook-up, and the large aggregate that separated sites which was difficult to walk on in accessing the side of our unit. Site cleanup is weak at best with much debris left amongst the rocks. Due only to the convenient location to the strip we will likely stay again.
Booked 3 nights and liking the area and Resort we stayed 16. Rate reflects daily. Weekly and monthly rates available. Large common room, separate room for 3 billiard tables, year round heated pool, quality laundry room, and all services were in good working order. Easy walk to grocery store and cinemas next door. Park was clean and overall well-maintained. Section of Resort has park models. One section is for long term monthly stays. Easy access to bike trails. Only dislike were the raised narrow concrete patios in the short term section. Will definitely return here again for a longer stay.
Arrived July and stayed about 3-months while visiting family. Level gravel sites with interior paved roadways. Nightly rate reflects 4-week fee. Consider this one of the best maintained parks we have stayed at. All services worked great. Wi-Fi is available at a fee, but we used our Bell stick which worked very well. Perimeter sites have fire pits. Many sites are winterized for year round habitation. While there are many year-rounders, management ensure they are kept neat and tidy. Park is south end of Red Deer and handy to shopping. If you like exercise, the City's extensive trail (bike, walk) system starts across the street. You are also next door to many shows at the Westerner Fair Grounds. Local Farmers Market offers great opportunity to sample goods from the numerous local farmers. Stayed here before and will stay here again.
Stayed here 4-nights waiting to go south. Water was shut down at night due to freezing temperatures, but back on during the day after things warmed up. Good power. Did not use Wi-Fi as we used our Bell stick. Most sites are graded front to back but side leveling was good. Public road leading to campground is a short gravel drive that was a little wash-boarded, but okay if going slow. Interior roads are acceptable and smooth. Major drawback to this campground would be the low limbs. Owners need to trim low branches on some sites and trim back limbs in roadway near washrooms in order elevate rating. We had to change sites due to limb problems. Also some of the buildings look tired, but overall not bad. Likely will stay here again if in the area.
Good site services, including Wi-Fi and cable TV, for our two night stay. Easy access from I-15. If you are an early to bed type then road traffic from adjacent street will be a problem, but this noise dies down after 10pm. Airport has departures early morning and most of the time these are not an issue depending on wind direction. Good variety of stores for shopping. We stayed here before and will stay again when in the area.
While our site was acceptable and had good services, was very aware of the low overhead branches on the drive in and out Some sites had limbs on roof tops. Our site was spacious. A little leveling of gravel at our site that was up heaved by previous occupants would have been nice. There is good wi-fi. The campground overall looks very tired and needs injection of new life. Other sites looked in need of gravel to level and cover dry mud. The one thing that bothered me the most was the extensive mold in the men's washroom much of which looked like it was painted over more than once and not properly treated beforehand. The latter really took this rating downward by a few notches. Might stay again but will not venture to washrooms. Rate reflects value card discount.
Easy access from I-64. Site was clean, spacious, quiet, and level. All services worked well and while no cable TV, there was good aerial reception of several channels. Strong Wi-Fi. Friendly staff. One feature that may appeal to some is that some sites are designated handicap. Much potential for site activities as owner is obviously making headway on various projects. Stayed only one night but will stay again when next in area.
Escorted to deluxe site which was spacious and reasonably level. All services worked well. Laundry facilities neat and clean with good working machines. I-75 noise barely audible and thus had good nights sleep. Interior roads had some erosion due to heavy rains in recent weeks, but overall were in acceptable condition as were trees. We will stay again when next in area.
Friendly staff and good escort. Site was relatively level and all services worked well. Seems well maintained campground. While campground is close to I-75 it was very quiet and offered a good sleep. Good location from which to visit area attractions such as Andersonville and Plains. First time here and will definitely stay here again when in area.
An older park that has a large percentage of seasonal units. Friendly reception and guided to site. Site was not all that level but managed to get close. Services were acceptable. No cable TV but aerial reception was strong as was Wi-Fi. Interior roads could use some gravel to eliminate pot holes and muddy areas during rain. Stayed here 3-nights to visit friends/relatives and waiting for weather to improve. Might stay here again of in area.
Campground is clean and well maintained. Basic services worked well including wi-fi that had good speed. Sites are grass and roomy. Our site was somewhat level and with little effort could level unit. Despite proximity to the road, it is a quiet campground. They need to service some of the equipment in the clean laundry room. Stayed here 2 nights and will stay again.
Access easy from I-95. Friendly reception to this well maintained clean park. Sites are grass and ours reasonably level. All services worked well including the Wi-Fi which had good speed. Traffic noise from I-95 made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. If not for the noise factor this would be a 10 rated park.
Rate reflects KOA discount. Park is well maintained. Roadways are paved and sites are sand/gravel mix. Guided to our site which had good length, reasonably level with good services. Wi-Fi worked very well with couple of minor hiccups. Only negative to park is the extremely early departure of many travelers who use this as a night stop over and this disturbance interrupts a good sleep. Stayed here before and despite the early departures we will likely stay here again when next in the area.
This Park is away from the heavy trafficked highways and this provides a quiet retreat suitable for a longer term stay than the one night we were here. Sites are grass and ours was wide, deep and slightly uneven, but easily leveled. Services were in good repair. Wi-Fi worked well. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again when next in area.
Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Clean, quiet, well maintained newer park. Wide sites are hard-surfaced and are level side to side with slight natural rise away from Creek. All services were good. Great site for exploring area. Trolley service across street provides a very economical means to visit area attractions thus avoiding driving in heavy traffic. Wi-Fi was strong. Stayed here 3 nights and will definitely stay here again.
Paved sites and interior roads. Tight maneuvering in and out of sites. Space between sites is gravel. Proximity to other sites is very tight and would have been impossible to extend awning. When exiting RV our steps ended at the neighboring service post and their furnace exhaust entered our unit when we opened the door. Not much space available after extending our slides. The one positive that this campground possess is its proximity to Louisville and for that reason we might stay here again to better explore Louisville.
Friendly check-in to a well maintained campground. Site was level and extra long. Good services and clean laundry room. Close to highway, but highway noise from 401 was not disturbing due to elevated position. Good for a stop over and a longer stay. Stayed here before and will stay again when in area.
Very friendly staff of this well run campground. A lot of new facilities since the flood. Quiet environment and campground is well located for easy access to area's attractions. Spacious, level sites and good services. Laundry room has all new equipment and economically priced. Some sections of the interior paved roadways could use some patching which is assumed as they recover from the flood. Will stay here again when back in area.
Good quiet campground for a short stay. Site was not that level side to side, but worked unit around and with boards able to do so. If this park had sewer hook-up, then it would rate higher. First stay and would stay again as a stop over when in area again.
This is a tired but secured campground with significant 24-hour traffic noise from the 401 Highway making it difficult to tolerate outside of the RV. Friendly check-in. Shore water hook-up is in bad repair with broken or badly leaking o-rings. Power supply was an issue, and we only stayed one night rather than the week we had planned. Shore services are shared and located on a raised mound, and the sewer hook-up is so high that it would almost require fluids to flow uphill. Interior roads had some pot holes, but they were navigable. We would not stay here again.
Easy access off Highway 15. Friendly reception and staff. Did not use Wi-Fi; using data stick instead which had good reception. Park seems well maintained. Depending on volume of oncoming traffic, you are lead to your site. Power was good, but water pressure dropped quite strongly in the a.m. with increased use by other campers. For this reason rated as noted. Due to location will definitely stay here again.
Our two night stop was in a spacious partially wooded site near the office. Site was level side to side, but was on a slight downhill grade. Did not use Wi-Fi, instead using data stick which had good reception. Water and power services were good and while there is a dump station easily accessible, would rate higher if there were sewer service available at site. In season reservations would be advisable. Overnight security guard controls entry to Park for peace of mind. Would definitely stay again.
Friendly owners and staff during one night stay. Services worked very well and site was reasonably level. Wi-Fi reception was strong. Small lake available for swimming and non-motorized operation. Plenty for kids and adults to do. Many seasonal sites but all are well maintained and adds favorably to parks overall appearance. This is the quietest park we have ever stayed in and without hesitation would stay again for one or more nights.
Park is made up of two sections one being mostly seasonal with some overnight sites, while older part is with nominal shade trees and without sewer hook ups. There is a dump station but is not well arranged for access on the exit route. Power and water service are good in older part where we stayed. Wi-Fi is free for 30 minutes and then there is a charge. We used data stick after free time expired and had good reception. Some road noise but did not interrupt sleep. Park is well maintained and would stay again.
Friendly check-in. Guided to a gravel site which was level. Services worked well. Our pull-through site was spacious but some appeared rather tight when the slides were extended. Fire rings at most sites. Reservations recommended during the summer season. It's a family park with things to do for children. During our stay they celebrated Christmas in July. No pool but there is an enclosed spa at a charge. Did not use the washrooms, but there are numerous buildings throughout the park providing easy access to all. Our data stick worked very well in lieu of Wi-Fi, and the cell phone reception was strong. This was our first stay, only one night, and would definitely stay again.
Well maintained park, with friendly staff, in a good location for sight-seeing. Some gravel sites but most are on grass. Roads have dust control applied and speed bumps help prevent speeding. Laundry facilities including equipment is in top order. Wi-Fi does not always have a strong signal especially on first day of 2-day stay. Cell phone and data stick were also weak but that may have been due to our service provider not having a strong local network. Lots to do for everyone and there are many extra activities on weekends. One of the better KOA sites. Recommend reservations in July and August. We stayed here before and will stay again.
One of the better maintained parks with level sites, gravel and asphalt road ways, plenty of activities to occupy most everyone. Wi-Fi worked exceptionally well - very responsive. Shade provided by mature trees that are well cut back to avoid damage to units. Good water pressure and power was in good working order. Well located for sight-seeing. Only staying one night but if schedule permitted would stay longer; have stayed here before and will return.
Well-maintained small park with easy access to all sites. Services were in good working order, and water pressure was especially good. Friendly staff. Road noise could be a distraction for some, but it calms down after sunset, and we were able to sleep through it. Others had no problem with road noise either. Wi-Fi available in office, and some were able to access at sites close to office. We used data stick which worked fine. We stayed here one night and would stay again.
Well maintained park with long term units at back of park and short term grouped at front. Friendly office staff. Roads and sites are gravel with grass separating. Some are wider than others but no problem in putting out slides. Reception for cell phone and data sticks was weak to non-functioning. Did not try Wi-Fi. Stayed here only one night, but would not hesitate staying longer notwithstanding the communication issue.
Reasonably well maintained facility which incorporates a motel as part of its operations. Could use some limb cutting in the road ways and sites. We were able to easily open our slides without hitting limbs but others were not as fortunate. Quiet site near Trans Canada. Water and power were good. Stayed here only one night but would stay longer.
Gravel roads and sites, but well drained due to its downhill slope. Most sites have a slight back to front slope but are fairly level side to side. Plenty of room for slides. Friendly staff on arrival and leaving. Very good water pressure. Stayed only one night but would stay longer.
Clean well maintained park. Very quiet. Stayed here 6 nights. Some concern about electrical as the pig-tail was cooked where it was plugged into the shore outlet. No damage to unit equipment as it was protected by a surge guard. Will stay here again.
Weekly rate is $120 and monthly rate $460. Wi-Fi available at a $1 per day. Self-check in. Layout of services was poorly installed requiring long extension electrical cords for most sites as was the case for water and sewer. Water quality was fair, and there was question as to quality of power. Irrigation spigots were not labeled as to non-potable water, and some units were connected unknowingly for short period of time. Many sites used long term by workers. Campsite has gravel roads as do unit sites; however, gravel is totally inadequate especially during wet weather when sites are excessively muddy and water pools around vehicles. Accessing campgrounds on wet days results in mud coating vehicles. Dry season is dusty. Not all picnic tables are usable, and children's playground is in need of repairs. Washrooms and showers, while clean, need overhaul. Anyone concerned with weed killers be aware as owner sprays sites with herbicides which might be okay when sites are empty, but tends to have no respect for your equipment and sprays on water hoses, electrical cables, mats and other apparatus associated with your unit. Due to allergies with herbicides we had to discard considerable number of items at my expense. Weeds around unit were helping to keep mud from splashing onto unit during rain, but after herbicide application the weeds were gone. Out of necessity we stayed here for an extended period in a 5th wheel. Depending on the weather, good location for a one or two night stop.
A great, clean and quiet campground well run by friendly hosts. Our site was level and all services worked well including Wi-Fi and cable TV. Stayed here three nights and would definitely stay here again.
Very friendly check-in at a well maintained campground. Our site was gravel and fairly level; had tight quarters getting in and out of the site, but plenty of space between sites. Has paved roads with speed bumps but it's manageable at the right speed. All services worked well including Wi-Fi and cable TV. Stayed here two nights and would consider staying again.
Friendly and personable check-in at this KOA. The site was level and services were well located for easy connection. Has mostly gravel spacious pull-throughs with little ground cover between sites. Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well as did all the services. Stayed here for two nights and would be inclined to stay again.
Park has a friendly check-in. Our pull through site was tight, but manageable with the slides out. More spacious sites are available at a higher cost. Site was gravel and level. Wi-Fi worked well, cable TV and other services were acceptable. Some road noise, but it was not bothersome. Stayed here three nights, and would stay again if in area.
Clean campground with many long term units mostly around the perimeter, but these seem well maintained. Site was reasonably level side to side, but was not front to back. Wi-Fi worked well at our site which was close to the office. Services worked well. Road noise was noticeable early evening but not through the night. Stayed here for 2 nights and would stay again.
Easy to locate by following the road signs. Friendly check-in and the owner provided suggestions on points of interest in Sheridan and area. Site was a level gravel site with grass between adjacent sites. Road noise was not an issue. Stayed here three nights and would stay again.
Park has easy access from the highway. Friendly check in and helpful directions provided. Mostly a gravel campground, which suited us as it lessened bringing dirt into our trailer. With the trailer windows closed road, train and airport noise was not that noticeable. We stayed here two nights. Would return again.
