Love this place! It looks like a converted parking lot that's broken up (by the restroom buildings) into three sections. We got a center space at the end section which allowed us to have two "spaces". Each meal we could sit in our trailer and look out on the ocean which is mere yards away. And the beach itself is great. The birding is tremendous. We rented wet suits and boogie boarded for a couple of days. Nice staff as well. We loved it so much we stayed much longer than planned.
Well the good news is that it had wi-fi and some working laundry facilities. And it was just over the fence and across the street from Morro Rock. Good hookup options. And the staff is very nice. But, um, it's also surrounded on at least two sides by an electric plant, cement plant and a sanitation plant. It's all paved, no shade and you really do feel like you're on top of each other. Oh, and near where our campsite itself was is a lot that can only be described as where RVs go to die. There were dozens of rusty, old campers. We moved on to Morro Strand State Beach just a few miles away. Right on the beach and just up the road. Alot quieter too.
