Wonderful owner, extremely helpful. The restrooms and showers were absolutely wonderful. This is a developing campground. Still needs some work on the pads which are gravel. However, that being said a great place to stay. Notice another reviewer mentioned the trains. We did not find them disruptive as they did not use their horns and were far enough away to really not be noticeable. We had a great night sleep!
Nice KOA with paved roads and sites. Some sites could be more level. It is a pretty place with all the trees and ponds and is convenient to all the activities in St. Augustine. Wi-Fi a little slow at times but probably due to volume. We are staying here multiple nights and would definitely stay here in the future when in St. Augustine.
We really like this campground. The people are extremely friendly and attentive. The roads and sites are all concrete and for the most part very level. This is one campground that I really like the restrooms and shower. Definitely the place to stay in NE Houston area. We stayed here a couple of nights!
This is a new campground with all large back in sites. They have no facilities or on site personal. You are given a code when you call that opens the gate. All gravel roads and sites. This will be an excellent campground when completed. Great Wi-Fi and Cable. We stayed overnight and would use again.
Very good location. We had the premium site and they were great. Paving in the site was needing some repair but adequate. We stayed here as a base camp for our vacation in Seattle which was perfect. Everyone was nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here in the future.
I was never so surprised in a campground. It was perfect in every way. Most of the campground is a very well maintained mobile home park which did not bother me in the least. We had a large level site with patio in a wide, shaded spot. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. In all, an outstanding experience.
This was an overnight spot and was adequate, I guess. I was extremely disappointed in this KOA. It is a field with hookups. They do not enforce the rules. Again, My expectation for a KOA is much higher. I would not stop here again.
We really enjoyed this campground. The owners are really nice and seemed to care about the quality of their facilities and the people that stay there. We stayed 2 nights with our grandson and enjoyed every minute of it. Across the street was a nice farmers market with fresh produce. Great place, we will be stopping again.
This was a good campground conveniently located to Napa and Sonoma valley. The sites are shaded. The premium site we had was right by the rec hall. The music was loud at times and the kids were continually walking through the campsite. The premium sites were paved but ours was unlevel. I would have preferred a gravel site away from the Rec hall.
We go here every year. Usually we take our grandson because there is a lot for kids to do. For a daily fee, they have a great time! This year we went for only ourselves. We always liked this park and every year they invest in making this even better. The staff is extremely nice and try real hard to satisfy everyone. As mentioned, the roads are gravel but the pads are concrete. They have sites for any size vehicle and tow. The private lake is catch and release but a lot of fun to fish. For the kids, they have a jumping pillow, miniature golf, bumper boats, paddle boats, walking trail around the lake, bikes, arcade, and swimming. This is a perfect place.
Everyone here was extremely nice. The park was somewhat secluded and quiet. It was situated on a rushing stream that added to the atmosphere. It appeared the owners were re-investing in the property and making some nice additions and improvement. I would like to camp here again and just relax!
We like this place. We had a deluxe site which I would recommend since they have many sections, some appeared to include a mixture of equipment of all sizes including tents. The deluxe sites include limited cable channels and WiFi. The park is about 6 miles from West Yellowstone entry gate. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a good overnight stop. They were extremely friendly and helpful. In reality, it is similar to most Wyoming campsites with limited very few trees and very little grass. Mainly it is just gravel and dirt. However, I would gladly stay here again.
This could be a really good campground with some very minor improvements. The roads are gravel and have large pot holes. Areas between some of the sites were low and had standing water due to rain. They charge for WiFi unless you are close to the hotel where you can get it free. The site we had was level and it looked like most are at least very close. One of the best parts was it is close to the free city bus that will take you within easy walking distance of most attractions in the city. The on-site restaurant was also a very good family place to eat.
Well maintain, great showers, level paved sites, great tennis court and basketball area, other great amenities. Will return when in the area. This is a new park with lots of small trees. It will be exceptional when they all grow.
We enjoyed this park. We like to walk and you can walk here. There is a lot of history and a lot of things going on including hay rides, horse back riding, rafting, camp fire dinners, a theater(which was not open yet for the season but the shows are put on by Chadron State, a restaurant, and a couple of museums. The sites were level in the section we stayed. (recently repaved) They included sewer, water and 50 amp.
When we drove in, I was a little worried as it looked somewhat rustic. However, I really liked this park! It is on a hill but has level sites. We had a patio site which was almost perfect. We were not towing and Enterprise car rental was close by to get a car! Restrooms were spotless ALL day! They gave us their weekly newsletter of what was happening in the area, what to see, and where they like to eat! This place was great!
Overall, I think this campground has tremendous potential. In the front half, the sites were EXCELLENT, well manicured and landscaped - no big trees yet since it is new. We happened to be put in a site that was still under development. This was not the best situation. Had I known, I would have looked for another campgrounds. Also, there was only one restroom (ONE ROOM with john and shower) for the whole campgrounds and there was no hot water in the one shower. The other bathrooms were still under construction.
This place has to be one of the nicest in NM. The people were great. The place was clean and neat. The campsites were level. Everything was well taken care of. Too bad NM doesn't have a lot of trees because the only thing that was lacking was shade!
We have camped here a couple of times for multiple days and enjoyed our stay each time! The sites could be more level but were not, by far, the worst I have seen! The only big problem that I noticed was with the campers themselves not being courteous enough to park their extra vehicles in the overflow parking areas. The people camping next to us had to be told multiple times to move their car and truck so others could move in and out! The showers and restrooms were near perfect!
The restrooms were clean and they seemed to have most of the amenities we expect in an RV park. We did not expect trees in Wyoming but did expect wind! We were not disappointed as there were few trees and it was windy. My only disappointment was the sites themselve. Our site was not level and small. There were some larger sites that appeared nice but they also could use some leveling (there was only a couple of larger sites. My motorhome had the passenger side wheels off the ground by almost 6 inches to be level! Worst I have encountered.
