This is a Blue Green resort. The camping is split up into two sections. The old section is wooded but hilly. The section we stayed in was the newer section with concrete pads and outdoor kitchens. The sites were equipped very nicely. The outdoor furniture was great and the gas grills worked great. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the guest needs. The pool area was great with several different pools and hot tubes. We played golf at the on site course. Only $26 a round with cart. I would rate it a "C" level course, but something different to do while camping. Only drawback was the new section has no trees and with all the pavement made for a hot time. Of course we were there for the first heat wave of the summer, but even with extra portable shades the afternoons were unbearable outside the camper. When we first got there, a employee came by and offered us a $50 voucher if we attended a presentation on the Time Share opportunities with Blue Green, but this was very low pressure and was the only time we were approached. Would be an "A" plus campground in spring or fall.

The campground is split into two sections. The riverside sections includes the office, pool, waterslide, mini golf, lake and riverfront. The other section is across the road up on a hill. We had a riverfront campsite. The sites were roomy and fairly level. There is no cable at the river sites. This place is kid heaven. Along with the stated features, the staff has things going on most of the day for kids. The hill section has big, open, grassy pull through sites along with wooded back in sites. It is a hike from this section down to all the activities, but they do rent golf carts. The campground is well staffed and they were friendly. As others have stated, the big drawback is they have a fee for everything. But if you have kids, this is the campground for you. There are several small stores within 10 minutes of campground.

This was one of the nicest state parks I have camped in. The park has three sections that accommodate different size camping needs. We were in Loop D which was a pull through section. The spots were big and level with water and electric hook-ups. The camp host was very friendly and regularly making rounds. The campground sets back off the lake but is only a short walk via the road or trails. The lake features a swimming area with changing rooms and concession stand. There is a full service marina with boat rentals. Several different coves within walking distance have docks and easy bank acess for fishing. There is a Wal-Mart 10 minutes away in Dublin. This campground has a high dollar feel with a state park price. Will return many times in the future.
