We camped here overnight while traveling on I-90. We were assured of a long-enough pull-through when we called, and when we arrived were told we had a 45' site. The site was only about 35' long, so we stuck out on both ends. We were told that they were saving the longer pull-throughs for big rigs, though several were still empty when we left the next morning. Something was leaking badly and water was running through several sites near us. We were told the sewer had backed up on the first row of sites the day before, so they were all unavailable. The leaking water had no odor, so it was not the sewer overflow. The swimming pool was filled with murky green water (don't know if it was open or not). Check in was pleasant and quick at the Cedars Inn office. The dog walk appears, according to the posted signs, to be in a recently mown wheat field. Might stay here again in a pinch.
We camped here for 8 days during the busy season with three grandsons and two dogs. The pull through site was extremely long. All facilities worked well. The store had firewood and lots of snacks, and staff was very friendly and helpful. The park held a dog show on Friday. Excellent lake beach swimming area 1 mile down a trail by the lake. The park was relatively quiet even though full of families with kids. We definitely plan to return.
We chose this campground because of its location across the street from Al's Oasis, an interesting place to say the least! We had a nice level pull through, cable and very good WI-FI. The hostess was friendly and efficient. The pool was great! In walking distance from a good restaurant at the Oasis across the street. They give a gasoline discount for a station which is also across the street. Restrooms and showers were spotless and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here on a weekend, and were lucky to get a good site in this National Park town. This campground appears to be the best around. However, the campground in the national park was full. The staff here was very friendly, and we were not only shown to our site, but the staff parked our tow-dolly for us and directed us into our site. We were in a dirt site which appeared to be sort of an overflow, but had full hook-up and excellent WiFi plus TV cable. We heard music on Sunday night and discovered an enjoyable duo providing C & W entertainment. The park was homey in a good sort of way, and convenient to everything in Medora and the National Park. We would stay here again.
The park is very well laid out and clean. The scenery is great! Check in was fast and efficient and the host was very friendly, as was the owner. The W-IFI was very fast. The park is located on the edge of town, but is far enough off the traveled routes to be one of the quietest places we have stayed. We would definitely stay here again.
We chose this park due to good reviews and close proximity to Glacier National Park, since it is only 3 miles away. Staff was very efficient and check-in was quick. The owner gave me a complete lecture on touring Glacier, complete with map and a photo board showing each place I was to see. Breakfast with homemade pastries was great, and service was very efficient and friendly. WI-FI was great and quick and we received all network TV channels on an antenna. We would definitely stay here again.
