This was our first stay at this park. If will be our last. The park needs a lot if TLC. Park was quite noisy with too many unsupervised kids. Pool looked dirty; office staff was not very helpful. We went to park another park.
What a beautiful park!! We were at a park in Asheville and moved after 1 night. This park has spacious sites, clean showers, and nice laundry. You can sit and watched the peaceful stream. Staff could of been friendlier. The only problem I had was with the office guy. He wasn't the fastest I ever seen, but his lousy attitude ruined it. Otherwise, its not the park fault they need to get friendlier work kampers. We will definitely stay again when we arrive back here in October.
The office was supposed to be open until 8:30 pm. We called and were given that info. We arrived at 7:45 and office was closed. We had no site map, no info. We took another site. The shower and restrooms were dirty. The garbage was overflowing. They said they have Wi-Fi; that was a joke. We called after hours number no one answered. We went in to pay in morning and told lady about problems. All we got from her was she didn't work that day and they were short staffed. Also they are not wheelchair friendly. Bathrooms and showers are not handicap accessible. Office has a step that my husband's wheelchair could not go over. The pool area is down a flight of stairs and was dirty and green colored. I wanted to talk to a manager and was told he was on vacation. I did talk to a teenage employee in office and was took we needed to find a park that caters to cripple people. How nice; my husband lost his legs in Iraq and this was our vacation. This park should be ashamed of its employees and park.
