This was the worst campground we visited during our two week camping vacation. We traveled through 7 states and this was by far the worst campground. No money is put back into this place to keep up the grounds or restrooms. It felt very unsafe as we drove around the park to find a place to camp. The sites were very crowded and the people staying at the campground looked shady at best. The pictures on the website and the wonderful review given on their home page is totally misleading. We were told there was primitive camping available on the river, but no restrooms available on those sites. When asked what people do in the middle of the nigh, we were told they just use the area by a tree - WHAT??? Do we really want to camp in someone's bathroom area - NO! We left immediately and looked for a hotel instead. I would never recommend this campground to ANYONE!

We loved this park. Although the water level was up 20 feet, we were still able to swim in the beach area. The sites are beautiful and the restrooms are very clean and have Air Conditioning What a welcome relief after a 105 degree day riding a motorcycle in the full sun!! The camp hosts were so friendly and the entire campground is very clean. It is close to town which allows you to get those items you forgot at home or to replenish your food supply! We would absolutely return!

We chose this campground because we visited the Cave 3 years ago and we loved the site. I have to say that improvements can be made. There were about a thousand or so mosquitos. With all of the visitors and money being made on this site, they could absolutely afford to spray the campground for mosquitos to make camping more comfortable. We had planned to stay here again on our return trip home, but due to the mosquitos, etc., we did not. In addition, we talked to some campers who had items stolen from them during the early morning hours. As we were traveling on motorcycle, we did not feel our items would be safe left out in the open. It is not a bad campground and it is close to the town. We would probably opt for a hotel next time, but we would not steer people away as long as they know they will be bitten hundreds of times before they leave the campground.

Wonderful RV Park. Close to town and very clean and well maintained. RV Park has an excellent swimming pool. We stayed in a camping cabin instead of our tent due to pending thunderstorms. The cabin was GREAT!! Was air conditioned, with cable TV, close to restrooms and had lots of room. The camp hosts were a delight!! Was a great park for family. We will absolutely recommend it and will and return! Thanks!

This park is very clean and well maintained. The swimming beach is so much fun. Beach was very clean and the swimming area was very large. We stayed in the lake until 10 pm - closing time of the beach. Life jackets are provided at the beach for use by anyone who needs them. Campground was beautiful, green and lots of shade. Huge marina and very close to town if needed. We loved it here and will return!!

We stayed here after about a 5 hour motorcycle ride. This was a very lovely place. The owners were so friendly and wanted to ensure a comfortable stay after such a long day on the road. Restrooms were VERY nice and everything was clean and well maintained. Nice family environment. We would recommend this to everyone!! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

This campground was not at all like pictured. We had planned to stay here on our way down the Mississippi River. Everything was run down and in poor condition. The photos do not represent the actual condition of the campground. We were very disappointed and very angry that we went out of our way to find this place. The review comparing this campground to the movie Deliverance is very accurate. We did not stay because of the very poor condition and the awful feeling we got when we drove through the campgrounds.
