This RV park is way overpriced. The site I was give for a weeks stay was 5 degrees out of level from front to back. The coal trains go past 24/7 and are disturbingly loud. Even though we were staying in the area longer, we left after one week.
This RV Park is bad, but it is the best in Hays. The site had no pad of any kind, was very badly rutted. Worst of all, the water spout was right beside (less than 3 inches) and lower than the lip of the sewer. At $25/night it was overpriced. Would not stay here again.
Park was almost full of transient workers. The people next to us tied up their dog outside and let it bark! The sites are rather narrow. Price seemed high for an overnight stay.
Very accommodating owners. Park is very well kept and is located in the heart of the site-seeing are of Independence. Strong free WiFi signal at the site.
