This is a very basic and lower priced park, but with all the necessities. It's not in a very good location in the city limits of Miami. The park has some security, but bikes are stolen regularly. The campers are long-time renters. Some have had the same spaces for 10 or 15 years. Since they get preference for the next year, it's sometimes difficult to get a reservation. It's not the greatest park, but it's the only decent one in the Miami area.
Park is in a pristine country setting. It is extremely well maintained. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the campers are friendly. Some campers tend to overdecorate sites and selectively violate the rules, and the management seems to permit this for long-time renters. Generally, however, it's a great park.
Park is an older one with individually owned lots. Some older lots are in some disrepair. Landscaping is beautiful. Hidden costs are unacceptable. Rentals are advertised from $55 to $65, but there is an extra charge of $1 per day for recreation fee, and $4 a day for electricity. You see these charges only when you receive your invoice. Being an older ORA park, maneuvering for large motorhomes is sometimes difficult.
