My wife and I have voted this our new favorite campground. The facilities are up to date; the campground is pet-friendly and beautiful, located on 1/4 mile of Willamette river frontage; the owner is friendly and helpful. The restrooms/showers are immaculate. There is an off-leash area for pets. The climate, we are told, is warmer and dryer than the nearby Willamette Valley's climate, and based on our experience that is true. Perhaps, my wife's favorite thing is great Wi-Fi service, included in the price of the park. We will definitely return. If I had to state any downside, it would be that some of the sites are slightly un-level. Shhhh...don't tell anyone about this wonderful place. We want to be sure there is always a space for us!
This is a nice, clean park with paved drives, although ours was not exactly level. Our biggest criticism of the park was this "unlevelness," but with the help of some leveling blocks and our hydraulic levelers, we were able to get level without much effort. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were here in the very beginning of the "season," and the park was nowhere near full. There are some residents, but all RVs were in good condition and all sites neatly kept. The location, while not spectacular in terms of views, is pretty and very convenient (thanks to our towed car) to "downtown" Lincoln City, the beach and Chinook Winds Casino, for those who are so inclined (we are not). We enjoyed our two night stay and would have extended, if we hadn't had other obligations. We will stay here again.
We stayed the whole summer here, because we were building a home in the area and needed an interim residence. The park is clean, and the staff is very friendly and responsive. Many of the campers are full-time residents or summer residents who go south in the winter. The park is clean and well cared-for. Pets are welcome, although it is a bit of a hike to the "pet area." We found the residents all to be friendly and cordial. There were some "overnight" guests during our stay. They were often "berthed" in the pull-through spaces, which are long enough, but a bit narrow. Campsites are paved, with ample room and privacy. All are full hook-ups; some have 50A service. The rate we paid was the monthly rate, $340, which included all utilities. We would stay here again.
