Some sites are pretty near to I-55. We were at the far end of the park and it was cool so the highway was not noticeable with the windows closed. The facilities were very well maintained. Very long level gravel pull-throughs with a grass strip between and a picnic table. The free Wi-Fi worked well and satellite TV setup was easy. A good overnight stop before or after passing through St. Louis.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. We were in a section of the park with a mix of mobile homes and temporary sites near one of the storm shelters. Most of the other short term guests were working on the fall harvest. The park was getting ready for winter and many sites were already winterized and unavailable. There was wiring for cable TV and telephone at the site but it was not activated at our site. There was a weak WI-FI signal for a secured network that we did not investigate. We used our air card and got excellent connection and signal strength. Satellite TV setup and reception was good. The sites were spaced about as far apart as any we have ever stayed at. Each site was surrounded on all sides by grass and there was a concrete patio at each site. Paved parking was in front of each site perpendicular to the street. We enjoyed our stay and would comeback again.

This is a bare bones Passport America park. No restrooms or showers, no WI-FI, no cable TV. It is open all year while some of the other parks in Sedalia close in October. We had one of the four paved sites. The others are gravel or grass. The manager was very friendly and helpful. It was an OK overnight stop.

Cost and the fact that the sites needed to be graded and leveled were the biggest negatives for this campground. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and it had good speed. There was plenty of shade, but we were still able to get a satellite signal without any trouble. The grounds were well maintained. The bathrooms and laundry were clean. We enjoyed our stay at this park.

The full hookup sites leave quite a bit to be desired. They are relatively close together and are located on a terrace on a hillside. Several are short pull ins only suitable for smaller motorhomes and pickup campers. Our bottom step was over 18" off the ground. The Wi-Fi only worked well near the office/shower building even though there was an outside antennae. The Direct TV 101 satellite is behind the canyon wall requiring the dish to be at least 4.5' off the ground. I doubt the lower loops could get it except with a roof mounted dish. Our Verizon internet connection only worked between 6PM and 8AM and the cellphone only worked sporadically. The lower loop sites which were water and electric only appeared to be the nicer sites. More space, more shade and flatter.

We enjoyed our stay at this park. The owner is pretty laid back and there is often no one on-site. Most of the time, site selection is self serve, first come first served. We had a nicely shaded spot. Satellite reception was a little tricky due to the tall trees. Cable is available for a small charge. There is a lot of traffic on US 40/191 through Vernal, but we did not notice it at night. The campground is close to downtown with restaurants, a Smith's market and other businesses within walking distance. The Maverick station next door seemed to have the lowest diesel price in the area. This was a convenient location for visiting Dinosaur National Monument and the Utah Field House Museum.

This is a better than average Passport America Discount Park. Cash or check only for the PPA rate. Most of the big rig sites are pull-thrus in the open with no shade. The smaller back in and pull-thru water and electric sites are well shaded. The Wifi works well. Cable TV is included with the full hookup sites. The bathrooms and showers are well maintained and clean. There is no laundry facility, but there are two large laundromats downtown. The campground sits above the level of the highway so the traffic noise is not as noticeable as at street level. This was our second stay at this park and we will stay there again.

This appears to be an older campground. The shower and laundry building has seen better days, but was cleaned a couple of times a day and appeared to be freshly painted. The sign says under new management. They no longer give a Good Sam discount. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the restaurant and hotel workers stay in the RV Park. There are a number of trees, but most other than in the tent areas, are too small to provide much shade. The pull throughs are short: requiring rigs much over 40' total length to unhook. There is a large open area behind the shower building where big rigs could park and stay hooked up. Wi-Fi was $2 for as long as you stayed and worked well. Our Verizon modem did not work consistently for internet access. Satellite reception was no problem. This park is convenient for visiting Goblin Valley State Park, the Temple Mountain Wash pictograph site, and the Butpee Museum Dinosaur Quarry.

This is a basic stop on the road. Gravel spaces with concrete patio. Located next to the National 9 Inn at the South end of Wellington. It is in the desert, so no trees for shade. There is a Walmart in Price so it is not a bad stop for those that want hookups and also want to take on supplies. The indoor pool was very nice. The rest rooms and showers in the pool area were clean. There appeared to be a couple of long time stays, but most were travelers moving through. Traffic at night was not heavy and the traffic noise did not seem excessive.

We found this park to be a pleasant stop for visiting the Amana Colonies and the Village of Kolona. The park was well maintained. The manager and staff were very pleasant and helpful. There are several short mowed trails to walk pets. The back in water/electric sites on the outside perimeter appeared to be a little larger than the full hookup sites which were in the middle. The Wi-Fi worked well and satellite TV setup was surprisingly easy given the number of large shade trees. This park seems to have a number of repeat customers that come numerous times a season, some every weekend. We were told it is also popular during University of Iowa home football game weekends.

This is a well kept park. My rating would have been higher but for the higher than average price. The facilities are clean and very well maintained. Our site was extremely level. We were able to get satelite reception, but the mostly shaded area would likely prevent this at most of the sites. The free Wi-Fi worked well. The pond had a good population of bass and bluegills and you are allowed to keep a few for a meal. This is our second stop at this park and we would stay again.

If this campground was in just about any other location, I would rate it even lower. The main thing it has going for it is the location and the fact that it is the only campground with any hookups in Yellowstone NP. The sites are close together. No picnic table and little room to even put out a table and chair. We were in C loop and there was one bathroom with two stalls and a urinal in the men's room for 102 sites. One of the toilets was out of order for the 3 days we were there. The sewer hookup at our site was built up so high with PVC extensions that the tanks would not drain properly. The Xantera staff was indifferent to this situation first blaming it on the age of the facility which had nothing to do with these obviously recently installed PVC fittings. They then recommended using the dump station and finally suggested moving to another site which did not seem to be much of a solution as all the vacant ones I looked at seemed to have the same situation. The central location does make putting up with the inconveniences and poor attitude of the employees, but does not excuse them. The campground is within walking distance of the general store, visitor center and amphitheater where ranger presentations are given every night.

For the price, we thought this was a very nice park. Our site was long and level. The office staff made an efort to spread folks out rather than pack them in close together. We were able to get satelite TV reception. Our Verizon aircard worked extemely well. The signal from the Nomad fee for service Wi-Fi was strong and the fee was about the norm at $2.99/day. The pond appeared to have a good population of bass and bluegill. It was convenient from I-57 and not too far from I-74. We would stay here again when in the area.

This campground was developed in an old agricultural area, so the trees are all small and provide no shade. The facilities are well maintained and the staff friendly. It is in a popular weekend/vacation area so has a considerable number of park models, long term and seasonal rentals. We were the only ones in the transient area the two nights that we stayed so our site seemed huge. It was very long, but had there been others in the adjacent spaces, I'm sure it would have seemed no different than most RV parks. The WIFI system was a pay as you go through NomadISP and at $6.95/day, $11.95/2 days was one of the most expensive that we have encountered. Definitely not the campgrounds fault, but a bridge closure adds 10 miles if you are coming in from the East. Also, not the campgrounds fault, but the Historic District of Washington which has been very nicely restored is now mostly vacant buildings.

The park was well maintained, the facilities clean and the staff friendly. The rate included a charge of $10.50 ($5.25 each) for our two dogs which I think is quite high. While some parks prohibit pets, we have never been charged extra before. Having full hookups and cable TV is unusual in a state park. Based on what we were told by the staff and other visitors, the camping fee no longer includes access to the boat ramp or fishing pier which have a separate fee.

This was our second visit to this park and we enjoyed it as much as the first. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The grounds and buildings are well kept. The WIFI can be slow at times, but there are repeaters located throughout the campground so the signal is strong. It is a convenient location for visiting Okefenokee, St. Mary's, Cumberland Island and Amelia Island.

The rate is based on a weekly rate (pay for 5 get 2 free) and included four coupons for the Nomadisp WIFI system. As others have mentioned there are a number of long term stays and cottages in the rear section of the park. We did not notice any traffic problems or noise as we were on an outside loop away from the main traffic flow. We were disappointed that the larger lakefront sites were all taken by the workampers and unavailable to visitors. During our previous visit in 2008, the workampers were in the long term stay area and we had a beautiful backin site on the lake. We would stay at this park again if in the area.

This is a nice basic park without a lot of the fancy amenities. The sites were some of the largest we have seen in commercial parks in the area. Most of the sites seemed to be occupied for at least a week if not the winter season, but there did not appear to be permanent residents. The grounds were well kept and the buildings clean. The free WIFI worked better than most we have experienced ,even those we had to pay for. It is comparetively priced to other non-beach parks in the area.

This is a good park, but not a 10 in my opinion. It is basically a large gravel parking lot. The sites appear to be relatively level and of adequate size. Few of the trees are large enough to provide any shade. The Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well, but as is typical at KOA's they cost extra. The on-site breakfast and dinner is a nice option.

This is a clean and well maintained park. The sites are gravel. Most appear to be wide and our pull through was long and wide. Our site had some shade although others did not. The park is located on a hill so some sites slope from front to back which was not a real problem for our travel trailer. Our site was level side to side as were the others in our row. The laundry was clean and the equipment appeared well maintained. The Wi-fi worked at our site even though the office staff said it may not. The cable TV was adequate with some stations better than others. For the price, this was a good campground. We would stay here again.

I guess this is one of those parks that folks either love or hate. Many of the amenities must be accessed in the hotel and or casino. They give a coupon for cash for the slots in the casino (you have to play it, it cannot be redeemed) so if you are lucky you might reduce the cost of your stay. They appear to be repairing the entry road that others have complained about. The area is nicely landscaped, but there are no trees, just dessert shrubs and flowers. The sites are long and level and nicely spaced, although because it is so flat, it gives the appearance of a big parking lot. All sites have full hookups with cable TV which was nice since we stayed more than just one night. The WIFI seemed to work well with a repeater located high on a utility pole in the center of the park so there was no interference from other rigs closer to the repeater.

A clean, quiet, well maintained park. The sites are level and good size. If you want a great basic park to tour Sedona and the red rocks area this is the place.

This park is very convenient to downtown West Yellowstone. The spaces are larger than many commercial RV parks. It is located on the edge of town and surrounded by National Forest land on two sides. It is in the mid to high price range for West Yellowstone. The free Wi-Fi through Nomadisp did not work any better than many of the free systems at other RV Parks. The signal fluctuated from excellent to poor often and the internet connection was also lost momentarily on numerous occasions. Some channels were not very clear on the cable TV.

The rate reflects a buy one get one "hot deal" for the first 2 nights of our four night stay. We had a full hookup site that was out in the open which was not an issue as the temperatures were in the 50's. Some of the water and electric sites have shade. A nice quiet campground about 3 miles outside of town. The Wifi worked well at our site. The cable tv system lost satellite signal every once in a while as it rained several times a day while we were there. There is a shuttle bus stop at the campground which runs into town about once every 45 minutes.

A very clean and well maintained park. The back in sites are good sized and the pull thrus are average or better. There is some noise from the highways as the park is located at the junction of Highways 12 & 24, but little traffic a night. There are only a mens room, womens room, accessible bathroom and two unisex showers. The laundry was clean and the machines were in very good condition although the driers took a very long time to dry even on high heat. This was the only park in the area that offered cable TV, it was included in the cost and it worked well. The WI-FI was free and the signal was strong. It was slow to very slow when the campground was full and a number of users were on at the same time. The manager and staff (his daughter) were very helpful. This was a good location for visiting Capitol Reef, Escalante Grand Staircase, Dixie National Forest and Fishlake National Forest. We plan to return.

From what we saw, this is one of the better parks in Thermopolis. Our site was perfectly level gravel. There was a nice lawn area with a picnic table. The sites were about normal for a commercial park. The shorter sites require unhooking to fit. The Wi-Fi and cable were excellent. It was convenient to all the local attractions.

This appears to be an old park with new owners and manager that are just starting out. The facilities could use some TLC. The pull thrus were on the small side, but have enough room for our one slide and awning. Over the air TV reception was surprisingly good with digital signal for the major network stations. The free Wi-Fi signal was strong, but sporadic. Convenient to town and Bryce Canyon.

A beautiful location in a great National Park. The area is heavily wooded and some turns are difficult for long rigs. The in season rate of $52 seems high for the lack of other than basic hookup amenities. Showers cost $3.50 per use. TV reception was non-existent. The off season senior pass rate of $26 was reasonable for the area.

This small park is a work in progress. New bath/shower and laundry facility. New cabins. Office is currently undergoing a complete renovation. There is currently no cable TV although the sites have been wired for it. Over the air channels were virtually non-existent. The Wi-Fi worked at sites close to the office. Park was virtually empty when we were there, but some sites may seem close if all were full.

A pretty typical Interstate highway campground. Some spaces were pretty close together, but the management did a good job of spreading people out rather than packing everyone into adjacent sites. Road noise and train noise was about average. The noise from the steel bridge on the entry road was very loud at the sites at the front of the park.
08/2008
rating [ 5/10 ]
Our site was very long and a nice width. We were backed up to US 6 and there was more highway noise early in the morning than we expected. Sites at the other end of the campground were near I-80 and had no shade. The stone on the RV pad was very coarse.
08/2008
rating [ 6/10 ]
A good basic overnite stop. A little pricey for the lack of amenities, but very convenient on and off the interstate and fuel station. The campground was well off the highway and away from the travel plaza, so noise was not an issue. The Wifi signal was excellent, but there was a problem with the internet connection when we were there. Some of the back in sites would be very difficult to access with a big rig. There were a few long term sites in an area off by itself at the back of the campground.

Other than the noise from the Navy air planes going into the Oceana Naval Air Atation, I can't say anything bsd about this park. The grounds were very well maintained. The four swimming pools were excellent. There was free bus service to the beach. The sites were the largest I have ever seen at a commercial campground. The Wifi was strong, but was a Tango internet pay as you go service.

An older park right on US 26. The is an at grade railroad crossing directly across from the park. Train traffic was fairly regular even at night and the three to four whistle blasts were very loud. The sites are grass and close together, but there were very few rigs and they were spread out across the park. The 30amp service had glass fuses, but seemed to work OK. Over the air TV was limited to one network station and PBS. The WIFI worked well.

A nice clean park, with a small lake, and nice pool. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Far enough away from the interstate and train tracks that it was quiet. Wifi was OK, several transmitters, but still lost the signal occassionally. Petro and Pilot fuel stops located nearby at the interstate exit.

This is an older park that has been a family run business for 41 years according to the owner. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. Most of the sites are water and electric. Cable TV and Wi-Fi were free. There are a large number of beautiful wooded sites that are best suited to pop-ups and small travel trailers. Sites for larger RVs are in more open areas closer to the office and road. The local road gets traffic during the day and some noise from trucks pulling the hill up to the campground, but there is very little traffic at night and we did not notice any highway noise. The swimming pool is larger than most campground pools I've seen. There is a nice playground area and recreation center building. The buildings are old but clean. The Wi-Fi worked well as long as you are within line of sight of one of the transmitters. Like many campgrounds, the more RVs that got between us and the transmitter, the more problems we had keeping a signal. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when visiting family in the area.

This park is oriented towards the overnight traveler. There are the basic services including laundry with no activities. The grass sites are located around the perimeter with plenty of open space in the center of the park and a wooded undeveloped area for walking. It is convenient to I-10 Nd I-75 but far enough away that there is no highway noise. Free Wi-Fi is available and a new lounge is being constructed and furnished. Over the air TV reception was fair to poor with limited channel selection. A very nice overnight stop at the $14 Passport America/Happy Camper rate.

This is a beautiful park and extremely convenient for viewing the attractions at Stone Mountain. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The park is well maintained. A 50% Passport America discount is available for the first day's stay. The commercial, for a fee, WIFI did not work at our site and even the staff reported problems with the system. Free WIFI is available at the pavilion next to the campground office. Some of the turns are tight for really big rigs and the slopes on the paved roads are starting to show the effects of heavy vehicles.

rating [ 5/10 ]
This appears to be primarily a long term stay park. Lots of kids getting off the school bus, and few sites available for overnight. The area we were in had no bathroom or shower facilities. Our back-in site was long and level enough to stay hooked up. The staff was friendly as were the other campers. Access from I-85 was reasonable. In the early evening, there was some noise from an adjacent airport.

This park is convenient to I-65. It was only about half full during our visit and appeared that some were longer term residents. All of the RV's were well maintained and the grounds appeared to be undergoing renovations. There is a new picnic pavilion and child's play area. The restroom/laundry facility and office building appeared to be relatively new. All of the sites are pull throughs. There are no shaded sites. There is a large amount of open space around the perimeter of the park for a dog walk and a small pond. A good overnight stop and a Passport America Park.

This is a new campground with some facilities still under construction. I think, a little over priced for the current amenities provided. At the time we stayed, there was no laundry, no pool and unisex bathrooms. The sites are mostly long, level, straight gravel pull throughs with a picnic table on a concrete pad. The gravel access roads are wide enough to make access easy. The WIFI worked well at our site in the middle of the park. Landscaping is grass and low shrubs, no trees for shade. The park is convenient to I-95, but far enough that there is no highway noise. It is located near a entertainment complex used for concerts and other activities. The owner/operators are friendly and helpful. This park will only get better as the facilities are completed.

This is a nice clean well kept small park. It is convenient to the Interstate, but far enough away that there is virtually no highway noise. Not sure it really deserves the "Resort" classification. There are a number of newer very well maintained park models around the exterior loop of the park. There is access to a small lake for fishing. The short term sites are in the middle of the park with no trees for shade. The grass sites were well maintained and very level. The laundry was clean and equipped with relatively new machines. This is a Passport America park and is a good value for the area. Located close enough to Tampa, Saint Petersburg and Sarasota for day trips to the attractions in those areas.
04/2008
rating [ 8/10 ]
This park was a pleasant surprise. The sites were large and there is plenty of open space. There are a large number of shaded sites. The river was beautiful and the boat ramp was in good condition. Network TV stations were available over the air. A real bargain for the $10 Passport rate for full hookups.
03/2008
rating [ 9/10 ]
Hard to beat the combination of full hookups, cable TV, & WIFI for the price. Not sure if they have a laundry, we did not notice one. The campsites were large compared to commercial parks. The sites are sand which seems to be very common in the Coastal Georgia area. The roads are not paved, but are well maintained. Lots of trees everywhere that we saw, so for those with satellite requirements it may be difficult to get a signal. We had a very large back in, full hookup site (#8) directly across the street from the lake. A very nice County run park.

We stayed at this park to tour Okeefenokee, St. Mary's and Cumberland Island. The park was clean and the owner's very helpful. They made improvements to the Wi-Fi while we were there which helped some. Some of the sites are a little narrow others are good size by commercial park standards. Some sites have lots of trees which affect satellite systems. We enjoyed this campground and would stay there again.

rating [ 9/10 ]
In my opinion, a very nice park. The sites are sand which some folks do not like. We stayed over St. Patrick's Day weekend when any accommodations were very hard to find and feel extremely lucky to have found such a nice campground. We passed several other campgrounds on US 17 on our travels around Savannah. Most were very close to the highway, with small sites and did not appear that well kept. We had an extremely large back in site at the end of a row. Some of the long pull through sites appeared to be narrow. We met several other campers that were repeat customers. There is a fairly large section of the park, primarily dedicated to snowbirds and longer term rentals. The park is far enough from the highway and train tracks that the noise is not a big issue.
03/2008
rating [ 6/10 ]
The campground is located very close to I-95, and there is considerable traffic noise. My rating would have been higher except for the highway. The sites were all long pull thrus and appeared to be freshly gravelled and levelled. Our site was as perfectly level as any we have stayed in. We had a nice view of the lake. The WIFI worked well at our site.
03/2008
rating [ 7/10 ]
Not much to command the price of this campground other than the fact that there are not many campgrounds in the Wilmington area and none closer to the downtown area. The WI-FI system had a couple of towers and worked fairly well. The park is very pet friendly and had three nice size fenced dog runs. The pull thrus were long and easy to access. The staff was friendly and helpful.

rating [ 7/10 ]
A nice park for the Passport America price. Large pull throughs with full hookups. Most of the sites are all grass, some gravel or concrete. The WI-FI was free, but spotty at times. Convenient location South of Charleston. Some train noise from a freight line about half a mile away. No store, but nice laundry facilities.

Not many campgrounds in the area around Washington DC if you can not access the Military Famcamps. The park had the basic facilities and was well maintained. Our site was long and level enough to stay hooked up to the tow vehcle for a one night stay. The park is several miles from I-95 and other major highways so there was no highway noise.

The web site now indicates that the RV Park is being developed as houses.
10/2007
rating [ 9/10 ]
A basic park with much of the property reserved for seasonal sites along the lake. Our pull through site was very long, but a little narrow to park the truck next to the trailer. Large fields are available for pet walking and a nice enclosed pet run. Short term visitors can fish for free in the lake, but can not boat.
10/2007
rating [ 7/10 ]
The park is well maintained by friendly and helpful staff. The longer pull throughs do not have sewer. The dump station is located such that a bigger rig will block access or exit of several sites. Most of the full hookup sites appeared to be permanently or seasonally occupied. The local road from the interstate is narrow and overhanging branches or trees on the road shoulder needed to be trimmed in a couple of spots. This park is conveniently located to get around/through the Baltimore/Washington area between rush hours.
10/2007
rating [ 7/10 ]
A well maintained park with large pull throughs and concrete pads. The free city trolley stops at the park every half hour making touring the Saint Charles Historic District very convenient. The laundry and other facilities were clean and modern. There is a restaurant on site. However, there is little so remarkable to command the price other than the lack of any competition within an hour or less drive.
10/2007
rating [ 8/10 ]
A basic park without a clubhouse, pool and other amenities. The laundry and bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. There is a small convenience store with just the basics. The sites were nicely graveled and level. They were long and wide enough to park either in front of or next to the trailer. The park is located outside of Taos in the desert so there are no trees, which may be an issue in the hotter months. It is conveniently located to visit Taos, Taos Pueblo and drive the scenic byway loop to Red River and Eagles Nest.
10/2007
rating [ 7/10 ]
Convenient to the Interstate but not close enough to hear the traffic. Large level sites and well maintained grounds. WiFi worked at our site even though the office staff did not think it would. There appeared to be a large number of seasonal renters and a number of advertised family oriented activities especially on weekends.
10/2007
rating [ 4/10 ]
Beautiful setting with large sites. Appeared to be lots of permanent and/or seasonal residents. Not much competition in the area and a long distance on the interstate between choices. As last year's posters mentioned, the water was discolored at first, but cleared up after letting it run for a few minutes and was not a problem for washing or bathing. The dump station is poorly placed for long rigs requiring a backup to exit the park after dumping.

A well maintained park located near the main intersection in Chama. The pull throughs were long and wide. Many of the picnic tables were under shelters. The free WiFi signal from the Chama Visitors Center was accessible from a number of campsites. Convenient to the scenic railroad which runs from Chama into Colorado and back.

A very basic and expanding park next to the casino and County Fair Grounds. All sites have water, electric and sewer hookups. The sites were all gravel, level and well maintained. There appeared to be a number of extended stay sites. There are no rest rooms, showers, or laundry facilities at this park.

A beautiful campground managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The sites are large, well spaced and well maintained. It is open all year with electric always available. Water, showers and toilets are available as long as possible in the fall. Water is available at one standpipe all winter. A dump station is available. Winter rates are $4.00 per nite ($2 with a golden age pass).

Not for those that like hookups. Generator hours start at 6:00AM. There is water and a dump station available. There are also flush toilets and cold water wash stands in the bathrooms. There are some long pull through sites, but many sites are short enough that tow or towed vehicles must be unhooked. All the sites are generously spaced. The campground is actually free, but this website would not accept zero in the nightly rate.

A nicely maintained family oriented park. Nice lakes for fishing and small boats. Convenient for visiting the Bishop Hill Historic Village site. There appeared to be a large number of seasonal rentals.

This campground is located in a beautiful setting along a river and a pond. The sites were large and well maintained. The WiFi was a little spotty depending on the campsite location. On a weekday in September, we had the place virtually to ourselves.

Great location along the Delaware River. Boat ramp and shore access for fishing, canoeing, etc. Basketball and Volley Ball courts and a large open playground field. Helpful friendly staff. There are a number of seasonally rented sites and a large number of tent sites. RV sites are nice size, with picnic table and shade trees. There is a free dump station and also honey wagon service ($10). On Saturday night there is a free movie on the campground TV channel. The equipment in the laundry room was clean but aging.

At the Passport America and Happy Camper rate of $14.00, this is a great park for an overnite or visit to the Zanesville area. The sites are nicely spaced and the grounds and facilities are kept neat and clean. The WiFi works at the sites and over the air television reception of local channels is good.

A large campground with large sites and plenty of shade trees. A large pet walk around the perimeter of the park. Over the air TV reception was good. The WiFi worked well.

This campground is located in a beautiful location along the Platte River. There is access to the river for wildlife observation and fishing. It is conveniently located near the Fort Casper Historic Site. The campgrounds gives the impression of benign neglect. The sites are extremely close together without even a picnic table. A large number of sites seemed to be permenantly or semi-permenantly occupied.

This is a new park, in a very scenic location. Very convenient for visiting Custer, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and the Needles Highway. The owners live on site and give the park their personal attention. The WiFi seemed to work well throughout the park. All the facilities are in excellent condition. The laundry room had only one washer and dryer which could be a problem if the park was full. Over the air TV reception was poor and cable is not available at this park.

Unlike the name implies, this park seemed to be home to a small number of rigs that had not moved in some time. The sites were large and nicely shaded. The facilities were old and poorly maintained. Almost all the water standpipes leaked. Some electric boxes had missing covers and/or loose or broken recepticals. The cable TV did not work. The shower and bathroom building was an old and poorly maintained cinder block building.

Quite campground in a beautiful setting along Mill Creek. Close to a local winery and small Historic Village. Far enough from the interstate that there is no highway noise. Gravel sites were good size with a picnic table provided.

A basic park with water, electric and dump station. Some sites have a considerable slope, but those closest to the casino are level. There is a reasonable restaurant next to the casino. Showers and laundry facilities are available at the truck stop across the road. There is a grocery store within walking distance. Free overnite parking with no hookups is available in the casino parking lot.

Nothing fancy, just level gravel spaces with full hookups. The WiFi worked at the sites closest to the office and at the picnic table on the office front porch. I-70 is very close and the highway noise would be bad without the air conditioner running. Conveniently located for visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and Painted Desert.

A well maintained park with a mix of short and longer term sites. The sites were long, wide and level. The longer term sites were huge compared to most parks and individually fenced. The WiFi worked well.

A beautiful location with views of the lake. There is a boat ramp onsite. The down side is that there are only 7 electric & water sites and only 3 are first come first serve, the other four are on the reservation system which costs another $9 for each reservation.

Great staff at this little park will do everything they can to help you. It is a basic park with bathrooms, showers, laundry and TV/meeting room. Construction on I-10 through Tucson is making travel in town difficult and affects access to this park. A 50% off season discount is given to Escapees, Passport America and Happy Camper members.

Recently expanded, this is a very nice State Park campground. Many sites have water and electric, and a dump station is available. Large sites with lots of space between them. There are a number of hiking trails throughout the park and adjacent National Forest.

This park is under new management in 2007. They had just opened for the season and I was the only one in the park for two days. The bathroom and laundry facilities were brand new. WiFi and cable TV were not available while I was there. It is located in a beautiful setting along the river with adjacent pasture lands and views of the mountains.
