Delightful place in a beautiful area of Washington that is often neglected by tourists. Nice campground just on the north shore of Soap Lake, a famous mineral lake in earlier years, now not well known outside the area. The campground has recently been upgraded a bit under the new owners and is open to the general public. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice gravel pull in camping spots, many with trees and a bit of grass. Enjoy the lake and use this as a jumping off point to see a unique and beautiful part of Washington with drives up to Grand Coulee Dam and the surrounding area.
This campground might be a bit off the beaten path, but it is in beautiful country, sitting up on a hill with a 360 degree view. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to make everyone comfortable. A great place to kick back and just relax. Good fishing nearby in a small reservoir as well as the Boise River and there is boating above the dam. Just take it easy driving up the gravel road, it's well worth the trip.
