To shower, you must hold down the knob, that only produces hot hot water!! Dirty and very old. It was 105 degrees that day, and a hot dirty shower was not welcome. The pool was the only saving grace. No shade and an unkempt campground. Will not stay there again.
The main road to the park was flooded. The road was closed, but the park personnel did not know. The re-route took approx 45 minutes longer to reach the campground. The bathrooms/showers were dirty and no hot water. Un-level gravel sites. A lot of money, for not much.
We loved the San Francisco tour !!! Our tour guide was born and raised in San Fran. He took us everywhere, there was nothing he missed. Well worth every penny!! Must be on your list of things to do! This campsite is very family orientated.
Getting to the park was tough! There are narrow roads and lots of low hanging trees. But, the owner was so helpful, helping us get settled. The pool was great and the tone of the camp was very friendly. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. (We extended our stay.)
