The fees are $20.00 per night plus $5.00 per person so we bought the Texas State Parks Pass for $60.00/1 year which gets you in at all their parks free. Only have to pay the camping fees. We have been here several times over the years and always enjoy our stay. Right on the Gulf of Mexico.

This is an older city park but very secluded and friendly. We stayed here over night. Price was very good. Lots of shade.

This state park is just recovering from Katrina and has lots of new trees planted. Rates are $18.00 per day but you can use your Golden Age Passport here in Louisiana State Parks. Secure and safe and about 12 miles from the French Quarter. The laundrys are all new and free.
