This is a good overnight campground, the staff is friendly and the pull-through sites handled out 40ft motorhome with a tow-vehicle. There's no shade and the cable wasn't very clear (not sure if it was the campground or my hook-up). I didn't get too concerned since it was a one night stop over. Can't comment on the showers, didn't use them. Didn't see much for kids to do, other than a grassy area to play in. They are expanding and maybe the amenities may improve. There are good places to eat nearby. We would stay here again.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Escort service to site. Gravel pull-through shady sites (mostly sand), but fairly level. We stayed in site 42 and it accommodated our 40ft motorhome well. It was a little too cool to use the pool, but it look nice at a quick glance. We didn't use the showers, I did take a look and they appeared clean. We were here visiting family and the campground was very convenient for us. If you do stay here I recommend trying their pizza including the breakfast pizza and their (hot or southern style) we thought they were awesome. We would stay again.
This is a lovely campground, well maintained with paved level sites. Each with water, electric (a few 50 Amp sites) picnic table and a fire ring. Wood is available for a small fee, $5.00 for the week. The restrooms and showers were clean however there were no soap dish or hooks available in the shower area. They have a dump station for sewer and also a dump for just grey water. There's a beach swimming area and fishing lake available. I rated this park a 9 because items lacking in the shower area, there's no shade as the trees are yet too small and there's no sewer hookup at the camp site. I would certainly stay here again.
